| Abstract: | This article presents the results of the social and hygienic research in the districts of Transcarpathian region affected bу the catastrophic floods of 1998 and 2001. It has been registered that the population of these districts evaluate the work of health care authorities and institutions during extraordinary situations positively and require to improve the information providing system, the first aid training of the population, the working level of the district medical staff as well as to bе completely provided with medicine. |
