| Abstract: | Morphofunctional features of long tubular bones structure changes were determined after the performed ovariotomy in white female rats in 2, 4 and 6 weeks periods. Ovariotomy was determined to produce epiphysial cartilage destruction, bone tissue rarefaction, they having been revealed in lamellar substance. Compact bone substance proved to have been affected too. These changes have led to osteoporosis development. The most expressed bone transformations have been observed 6 weeks later after ovariotomy. |
