| Abstract: | Analysis of change of hormonal status in patients with metabolic syndrome was held. Increase of the Ievels of imrnunoreactive insulin, thyroid stimulating hormone, decrease of thyroxine in patients with impaired glucose tolerance and Туре 2 diabetes mellitus were the most denominated differences with the control group. Changes of hormonal status in patients with metabolic syndrome facilitate the development and progress of atherosclerosis. |
