Досвід лікування стриктур уретри у чоловіків із використанням сучасних ендоскопічних методів

Abstract

Results of treatment of 48 patients aged firom 20 to 88 years for urethrostenosis of different aetiology were analyzed. Complex of examination had included the analysis of patient complaints, of anamnesis, blood and urine analysis, conduction of radiologic, ultra­sonic examination, urophlowmetry. Optical urethrotomy, transurethral resection (TUR) of urethral obliteration, bougienage were conducted depending on length of stenosis. At 47 (97,9 %) patients independent controlled urination was restored, signs of obstruc­tion were eliminated. In 1 (2, І %) case cystostomy was performed. ln cases of short (up to 0,5 cm) strictures - optical urethrotomy is an optimal method of treatment with high recovery rates. ln cases of stretched strictures, especially in combination with prostate adenoma and bladder neoplasm, - TUR is the most adequate method of treatment, especially at patients with а severe accompanying pathology. ln cases of TUR conduction failures for stretched strictures and patient's refusal of open operation - bougienage becomes а compulsory method of treatment. Introduction of miniinvasive methods of treatment in practice had promoted the lowering of op­erative interventions risk, reducing of operative interventions duration and the duration of treatment period, had allowed to improve patients quality of life.
