| Abstract: | The article deals with six modem paradigms of linguistic investigations: expansionism, anthropocentrism, explanatoriness, interpretationism, functionalism and cognitivism. The author comes to the conclusion that each of the given approaches to language learning in Modem Linguistics merits intent attention as an attempt to penetrate more deeply into the essence of the ripe problems, that are the results of the correlation of man, his environment and speech acts. |
