| Abstract: | The results of surgical treatment of 209 patients with acute cholecystitis on the background of chronic obstructive lung diseases (COLD) were analyzed. 96 of them were operated via open cholecystectomy from median laparotomy and 113 -from minimal subcostal incision. The ventilation function of lungs was less affected in patients with minimally invasive open cholecystectomy. Minimally invasive open cholecystectomy is available, less traumatic operation with good cosmetic result, early return to work. It is an operation of choice for patients with COLD. |
