Abstract

Цироз печінки (ЦП) – хронічне дифузне прогресуюче захворювання печінки, яке про- являється структурною перебудовою її паренхіми у вигляді вузликової трансформації та фіброзу вна- слідок некрозу гепатоцитів, появою шунтів між портальною і центральними венами в обхід гепатоци- тів з розвитком портальної гіпертензії та наростаючої печінкової недостатності. ЦП займає перше місце серед причин смертності від хвороб органів травлення. В економічно розвинених країнах ЦП входить до шести основних причин смерті пацієнтів від 35 до 60 років.

Cirrhosis of the liver (CL) is a chronic, diffuse, progressive disease of the liver, which is manifested by restructuring of its parenchyma in the form of nodular transformation and fibrosis due to necrosis of hepatocytes, the appearance of shunts between the portal and central veins bypassing hepatocytes with the development of portal hypertension and increasing liver failure. Cirrhosis of the liver takes the first place among the causes of mortality from diseases of the digestive system. In economically developed countries, CL is among the six main causes of death in patients aged 35 to 60 years.
