Abstract:	Purpose: То demonstrate results of secondary IOL implantation in children in our clinic. Methods: 13 eyes of 12 children had secondary posterior chamber implantation between January 2001 to February 2004. In 10 eyes (9 children) there was posterior chamber IOL implantation (Alcon-Crystal, US optics). In three eyes (З children) we used Hanita IOL with scleral ficsation. Results: 48 months data on 13 eyes shows significant visual improvement in 12 cases. In 8 eyes vision is 0,4 - 1,0. In 4 eyes vision is 0,2 - 0,3. There is no significant visual improvement clinically in one еуе with high amblyopia. Conclusion: Secondary implantation was effective for visual improvement in children with aphakia.
