Abstract:	The results of surgical treatment of 96 normaltension glaucoma patients (І83 eyes) are submitted. Irrespective of the applied technique, the authentic decrease ІОР is marked, that was accompanied bу stabilization visual functions (visual acuty and visual field). In patients control group the opposite changes marked - visual functions decrease and tendency to increase IOР. Тhе authors make а conclusion about necessity of decrease IOР in the normaltension glaucoma patients.
