Abstract:	We have studied the possibility of applying Geviran in 37 patients with uveitis of salivary gland virus (SGV) etiology. Among them, iridocyclitis was diagnosed in 12 patients, posterior uveitis in 19 patients, panuveitis in 3 cases and intermediary uveitis in 3 cases. The application of Geviran in аІІ patients has led to the reduction of the Ig G titre of SGV-antibodies, acceleration of iridocyclitis and chorioretinitis treatment, decreased probability of recurrent diseases. The drug has proven most effective in the treatment of patients with iridocyclitis and chorioretinitis. Administration of the drug to patients with panuveitis and intermediary uveitis does not produce any significant effect оn the clinical course.
