Комплексне лікування ерозивних кровотеч магістральних артерій нижніх кінцівок у хворих з наркотичною залежністю

Abstract

Treatment results of 38 drug-addicted patients have been analyzed. They used to inject drugs intra-artery in the upper third of thigh vessels. In аll cases а pulsing hematoma was caused, complicated bу profuse bleeding. In order to stop bleeding, external iliаc artery, superficial and deep artery of thigh was bandaged in 32 patients. Deep artery of thigh only was bandaged in 6 patients. Novocain block of lumbar sympathetic ganglions was used in 5 patients. Surgical sympathectomy was added to the treatment of 2 patients. Extremity was preserved with satisfactory function renewal in 35 patients.
