Abstract

А complex examination including clinical-psychopathological, neurophysiological (EEG, REG), neurochemical (determination of adrenalin, noradrenalin, dophamin in 24-hours urine and serotonin in blood), and pathopsychological (ММРІ, Rosenzweig Picture Frustration Study, shortterm memory, Test de barrage) ones of 192 women with borderline (in structш·e of the climacteric and postcastration syndromes) and psychotic forms of the involution mental pathology, and 25 women with physiological course of climax (а control group) has shown heterochronous changes in the different homeostatic systems, that is evidence of the disfunction of central regulatory mechanisms as the leading pathogenetic link of their formation. It has been indicated the important role of reactive-personality mechanisms in these mental disturbations.
