The stages of the development of the rural space in the Slovak Republic

Abstract

Тhе current appearance of the country and the rural society is the product of the long-term development. The country has its irreplaceable position іп the development of the territory, it is necessary to know its fundamental functional elements of different opinions and periods of development, their relations to the social basics. As the basic research method was used the historical method connected with the archive documents. For the needs of analysis of the Slovak territory we саn determine the following periods that are different as to the methodology but at the same time they are overlapped as to the time. Тhеу are as follows: period before the beginning of the 20th century, period of the first half of the 20th century, the period of the industrial urbanization 50ties - 90ties of the 20th century and the period of the transformation.
