| Короткий огляд (реферат): | У статті розглянуто питання вивчення медичних термінів у контексті словотворення на заняттях української мови для іноземних студентів. Ознайомлення іноземних студентів із морфемною будовою медичних термінів сприяє більш продуктивному вивченню термінології, покращує розуміння студентами лексичного значення слова, розвиває комунікативні навики. Тому у пропонованому дослідженні висвітлено словотвірні шляхи формування медичних термінів, зокрема за допомогою суфіксів і суфіксоїдів, у яких містяться ключові дериваційні характеристики медичних термінів. Систематизовано творення термінів за допомогою суфіксів, що є досить важливим для їх запам’ятовування та вживання іноземними студентами у певних комунікативних ситуаціях. Наголошено, що суфікси містять лексичне та морфемне значення слова. |
| Опис: | Medical terminology is a main part of scientific vocabulary. The medical field is actively developing, new scientific directions of work are emerging, and accordingly, new terms are coming up to denote medical concepts and realities. That is why there is a need for a study of medical terms, especially accordingly to the morphemic structure of the word. The medical terminology is the subject of many studies in Ukrainian and foreign linguistics, but the functioning and usage of the medical terms in a professionally-oriented approach to teaching Ukrainian for foreign students of medical specialties has been little studied, and that determines the relevance of this topic. It has been found the meaning of scientific thoughts concerning the role of professional approach to teaching Ukrainian as the foreign language. The studying of the medical terms helps foreign students to acquire professional speech skills. The article examines the issue of studying medical terms in Ukrainian language classes for foreign students in the context of word creation, which contributes to a more productive study of medical terminology. Acquainting foreign students with the morpheme structure of a word contributes to a deeper understanding of the lexical meaning of the term, which develops students’ communication skills. An article explores the ways of formation of the medical terms, in particular with the help of suffixes and suffixoids. The suffix is considered as one of the most productive morphological ways of creating of medical terms. Productive ways of formation of the medical terms using suffixes are systematized, which is quite important for students to remember terms and use them in certain communicative situations. The morpheme, in particular suffix, is identified as part of the term, the functions of the morpheme are effected only as the corresponding constituent functions of the word as a whole. For instance, the meaning inflammation is built up by means of the grammatical suffix -ит- (синусит, отит, дерматит). The suffixes express the specificational part of the meaning of the medical term; the specifications being of lexical and grammar character that facilitates the studying of the medical terms by foreign students. |
