Класифікація визначень поняття "концепт" методом кластерного аналізу

Abstract

У статті представлено класифікацію визначень поняття «концепт», здійснену шляхом залучення кластерного аналізу. Природно, що за наявності великої кількості розгалужених класифікацій вчені порізному розподіляють існуючі поняття концепту за певними підходами. На наш погляд, така ситуація пов’язана не з тим, що хтось розробив більш вдалу класифікацію, а хтось менш вдалу, а з тим, що концепт – дуже багатогранне явище, яке не може бути вміщене в якісь чіткі та однозначні межі. Саме тому в нагоді стає кластерний аналіз, який дозволяє класифікувати визначення концептів за компонентами значень. Алгоритм дій складається з таких кроків: 1) добір існуючих визначень поняття концепту із різнотипних наукових та навчально-наукових джерел; 2) виділення основних смислових компонентів у межах дібраних дефініцій; 3) опис визначень як таких, що містять або не містять кожний зі смислових компонентів; 4) здійснення кластерного аналізу дефініцій; 5) опис сформованих кластерів. Для реалізації задуму методом суцільної вибірки було дібрано та проаналізовано 150 дефініцій із навчальних та навчально-наукових українсько- та російськомовних видань, серед яких 34 наукові статті, 15 монографій, 86 дисертацій та авторефератів, 7 словників та енциклопедій, 8 підручників та посібників. В рамках цих визначень було виділено 10 смислових компонентів, що так чи інакше характеризують сутність поняття «концепт»: 1) когнітивний; 2) чуттєвий; 3) лінгвістичний; 4) комунікативний; 5) соціальний; 6) культурний; 7) національний; 8) аксіологічний; 9) історичний; 10) індивідуальний. Дослідження виявило, що сукупність дефініцій концепту може бути розподілена за п’ятьма кластерами: 1) лінгвокогнітивний; 2) етнокультурний; 3) соціокультурний; 4) персонально-когнітивний; 5) психолінгвістичний. Вони не є чітко відокремленими один від одного, адже кількість виділених нами компонентів та їхніх комбінацій у межах визначень значно більша, ніж кількість запропонованих підходів. Разом із тим, подана класифікація дозволяє диференціювати найбільш значущі напрямки тлумачення концепту.

The article presents the classification of the definitions of the term "concept", carried out by involving cluster analysis. It is natural that in the presence of a large number of branched classifications, scientists divide the existing notions of the concept in different ways according to certain approaches. In our opinion, this situation is not related to the fact that someone developed a more successful classification, and someone less successfully, but to the fact that the concept is a very multifaceted phenomenon that cannot be contained in any clear and unambiguous boundaries. That is why cluster analysis comes in handy, which allows you to classify the definitions of concepts by components of values. The action algorithm consists of the following steps: 1) selection of existing definitions of the concept from various scientific and educational sources; 2) selection of the main semantic components within the selected definitions; 3) description of definitions as containing or not containing each of the semantic components; 4) carrying out a cluster analysis of definitions; 5) description of the formed clusters. To implement the plan, 150 definitions were selected and analyzed from educational and educational-scientific Ukrainian- and Russian-language publications, including 34 scientific articles, 15 monographs, 86 dissertations and abstracts, 7 dictionaries and encyclopedias, 8 textbooks and manuals. Within the framework of these definitions, 10 semantic components were identified, which in one way or another characterize the essence of the concept "concept": 1) cognitive; 2) sensual; 3) linguistic; 4) communicative; 5) social; 6) cultural; 7) national; 8) axiological; 9) historical; 10) individual. The study found that the set of definitions of the concept can be divided into five clusters: 1) linguistic-cognitive; 2) ethno-cultural; 3) socio-cultural; 4) personal-cognitive; 5) psycholinguistic. They are not clearly separated from each other, because the number of components and their combinations within the definitions is much greater than the number of proposed approaches. At the same time, the presented classification makes it possible to differentiate the most significant areas of interpretation of the concept.
