Ґенеза українських південнобессарабських говірок у світлі перейменування топонімів ареалу

Abstract

У статті визначено проблеми перейменування топонімів півдня Одещини в процесі деколонізації, приведення назв сіл, селищ, міст регіону у відповідність до стандартів державної мови. Запропоновано алгоритм такого перейменування, який дозволив би визначити перелік топонімів, котрі потребують перейменування з метою деколонізації, і тих, що не збігаються зі стандартами державної мови, а також дати їм нові назви, що не лише не пропагуватимуть російську імперську політику в Україні, відповідатимуть стандартам державної мови, а й відновлюватимуть національну памʼять українського народу, задовольнятимуть місцевих мешканців. Запорукою такого органічного перейменування є, на думку автора, урахування генетичної основи говірок, що побутують у населених пунктах, та етнічної і субетнічної належності діалектоносіїв. Пропоновано багатоступінчастий і багатоетапний алгоритм такого перейменування з належною диференціацією цілей деколонізації та збереження національної пам’яті, з одного боку, та приведення у відповідність назв сіл, селищ, міст та інших топонімів у відповідність до стандартів державної мови, з іншого, етапів визначення переліку топонімів, що потребують перейменування, та присвоєння цим місцевостям нових назв. Звернено увагу на необхідність урахування регіональної етномовної та історичної специфіки, яка полягає в полілінгвальності та полідіалектності ареалу, його переважній новожитності, в тому, що таке його мовне різноманіття корелює з етнічною і субетнічною ідентифікацією мешканців, зокрема й етнічних українців. Відзначено, що топоніміку регіону характеризує функціонування кількох власних назв на позначення одного населеного пункту – офіційної (нової, колоніальної) і неофіційної / неофіційних (старих, історичних), які нерідко зберігають національну памʼять, що з-поміж топонімів регіону є чимало прихованих результатів колонізації – однотипних назв, які, на перший погляд, не глорифікують російську імперську політику, але, значно збіднюючи офіційну топоніміку, несуть приховану інформацію про радянський період історії, натомість не всі назви (навіть перейменування радянської доби) з твірними основами красн- і червон- є такими, що потребують заміни. Наголошено, що всі ці чинники потребують уваги в сучасному процесі перейменування топонімів через урахування думки фахівців-науковців: філологів, етнографів, істориків.

The article deals with the problems of renaming toponyms of the south of Odesa in the process of decolonization, bringing the names of villages, towns, and cities in the region into compliance with the standards of the state language. An algorithm for such renaming is proposed, which would allow to determine the list of toponyms that need to be renamed for the purpose of decolonization, and those that do not coincide with the standards of the state language, as well as give them new names that will not promote Russian imperial policy in Ukraine, but will also meet the standards of the state language, but also will restore the national memory of the Ukrainian people, will satisfy the local residents. The guarantee of such an organic renaming is, in the authorʼs opinion, taking into account the genetic basis of dialects living in populated areas and the ethnic and sub-ethnic affiliation of dialect speakers. A multi-stage algorithm of such renaming is proposed with proper differentiation of the goals of decolonization and preservation of national memory, on the one hand, and bringing the names of villages, towns, cities and other toponyms into compliance with the standards of the state language, on the other hand, the stages of determining the list of toponyms, which require renaming and assignment of new names to these localities. Attention is drawn to the need to take into account the regional ethnolinguistic and historical specificity, which consists in the areaʼs polylingualism and polydialecticity, its predominant resettlement character, and the fact that such linguistic diversity correlates with the ethnic and subethnic identification of the inhabitants, in particular ethnic Ukrainians. It was noted that the toponymy of the region is characterized by the functioning of several proper names for one settlement – official (new, colonial) and unofficial (old, historical), which often preserve national memory, that among the toponyms of the region there are many hidden results of colonization – names of the same type, which, at first glance, do not glorify Russian imperial policy, but, significantly impoverishing the official toponymy, carry hidden information about the Soviet period of history, on the other hand, not all names (even renamings of the Soviet era) with creative bases of krasn- and chervon- are such that require replacement. It is emphasized that all these factors require attention in the modern process of renaming toponyms by taking into account the opinion of specialists-scientists: philologists, ethnographers, historians.
