Позиційне чергування у/в як складник милозвучности наукового тексту

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано випадки чергування у/в у науковому тексті, виданому за кордоном України у 80-х роках ХХ ст. Визначено ступінь розбіжности з вимогами чинного сьогодні в Україні правопису. Здійснено якісну характеристику фонетичного оточення евфонем, з’ясовано можливі авторські мотивації та загальномовні тенденції вживання прийменника/префікса у/в у випадках, що не відповідають теперішнім нормам. Об’єкт дослідження у статті вибрано працю Олександри Вишневської «Походження тваринного світу» (далі – ПТС), видану 1985 року за межами України – у Мюнхені. Книжка О. Вишневської побачила світ наприкінці ХХ ст., коли українські правописи вже оперували досить чіткими правилами щодо чергування у/в. Однак діаспорні видання цікаві, зокрема, тим, що вони формально не зобов’язані виконувати всі настанови державних українських правописів. Вважатимемо ці вживання авторськими. Предметом аналізу є позиційне чергування прийменників та префіксів у/в у зазначеній роботі. Для опрацювання методом суцільної вибірки із перших 55 сторінок праці взято 637 випадків уживань. Із 637 випадків уживань у/в 411, тобто майже 65 відсотків, збігаються з нормами П19. Для діаспорного видання, що не обтяжене редакторсько-коректорськими імперативами (принаймні про наявність редактора в книжці не зазначено), такий відсоток збігів є високим. Також такий результат засвідчує органічність понад половини вимог П19 стосовно позиційного чергування у/в. Позиція «після голосного перед приголосним» засвідчує узгодженість із вимогами П19 у 78 відсотках. Також високу збіжність із теперішніми нормами (75 відсотків) демонструє позиція збігу голосних. Найменше збігів (25 відсотків) виявлено щодо позиції «після розділового знака перед приголосним», що свідчить про існування авторського інтонування фрази, яке є ширшим від вузької позиції певного звука. Засвідчено такі компенсаторні можливості української фонетики для досягнення милозвучности: нескладотворчу вимову [в] та часткову редукцію [у]. Зауважено вплив на чергування у/в розташування в близькому оточенні літер у, ю, о, а, що позначають відповідні звуки. Перспективи вивчення такого мовленнєвого явища, як милозвучність, передбачають нагромадження хронологічно й стилістично різнорідного емпіричного матеріалу, що дасть змогу виявити найбільш поширені моделі для його розуміння й доцільности чи недоцільности нормування.

The article analyzes the cases of alternation of «y/в» in a scientific text published abroad in the 80s of the twentieth century. The degree of discrepancy with the requirements of the current spelling in Ukraine is determined. A qualitative description of the phonetic environment of euphonyms is made, possible authorial motivations and general language tendencies of using the preposition / prefix «y/в» in cases that do not meet the current norms are clarified. The object of research in this article is the work of Alexandra Vyshnevska “Origin of the animal world” (hereinafter – TCP), published in 1985 outside of Ukraine – in Munich. O. Vyshnevska’s book was published at the end of the 20th century, when Ukrainian orthographies already operated with rather clear rules on the alternation of «y/в». However, diaspora publications are interesting primarily because they are not formally obliged to follow all the guidelines of the state Ukrainian Orthography. Therefore, we will consider these uses primarily author’s. The subject of analysis is the positional alternation of prepositions and prefixes «y/в» in this work. 637 use cases were taken from the first 55 pages of the paper for processing by the method of continuous sampling. Of the 637 cases of «у/в» use, 411, is almost 65 percent, coincide with the norms of П19. For a diasporic publication that is not burdened with editorial and proofreading imperatives (at least the presence of an editor is not mentioned in the book), this is a high percentage of convergence. Also, this result testifies about the integrity of more than half of the requirements of П19 regarding the positional alternation of «у/в». The position “after the vowel before the consonant” shows compliance with the requirements of П19 in 78 percent. The position of coincidence of vowels also demonstrates high convergence with the current norms (75 percent). The lowest number of matches (25 percent) was found for the position “after the punctuation mark before the consonant”, which indicates the existence of the author’s intonation of the phrase, which is wider than the narrow position of a particular sound. The compensatory possibilities of Ukrainian phonetics for achieving melodiousness are proved: non-syllabic pronunciation [of «в»] and partial reduction [of «у»]. The influence on the alternation of the «y/в» location in the immediate vicinity of the letters «y, ю, o, a», which denote the corresponding sounds, has been noticed. Prospects for the study of such a speech phenomenon as melodiousness involve the accumulation of chronologically and stylistically heterogeneous empirical material, which will identify the most common models for its understanding and the feasibility or inexpediency of rationing.
