Деякі особливості поетичної ономастики роману Володимира Даниленка «Клуб «Старий Пегас»

Abstract

У статті автор долучається до дослідження одного з актуальних питань сучасної філологічної науки – вивчення значення й ролі онімних одиниць у тексті літературно-художнього твору. На матеріалі роману «Клуб «Старий Пегас» відомого українського письменника Володимира Даниленка проаналізовано семантику імен, прізвищ головних героїв, специфіку їх дисонансного поєднання в тексті. Виявлено різноманітні види літературно-художніх онімів, охарактеризовано їх структуру, функційне навантаження, роль у втіленні авторського задуму. У дослідженні здійснено аналіз власних назв роману Володимира Даниленка «Клуб «Старий Пегас». До уваги взято імена головних героїв, власні назви, які входять до складу заголовку роману, а також топоніми. Виявлено, що інтерес письменника викликають особи, що є знаковими для сучасного суспільства, впізнаваними завдяки своїй популярності, особи, які відіграють або відігравали важливу роль в історико-культурному житті народу. Автор не подає їхніх справжніх імен, але завдяки влучному опису зовнішності, дій і вчинків читач впізнає героїв, а їхні імена в тексті є дуже промовистими. Особлива роль у творах В. Даниленка відводиться іменам античного й біблійного походження. Зокрема, у статті тлумачиться символіка назви, пов’язана з іменем міфічної істоти. Семантика деяких антропонімів влучно й однозначно характеризує персонажів, надаючи читачеві конотативну інформацію, що містить вказівку і на певні прикмети носія, і на його оцінку. Констатується, що топоніми є невід’ємною ознакою ідіостилю Володимира Даниленка. У романі «Клуб «Старий Пегас», як і в більшості попередніх творів, письменник використовує назви, які є прикметними для певного регіону чи міста. Топоніми створюють художній простір та водночас є джерелом пізнавальної інформації, пов’язаної з Києвом чи іншими містами і селами України. Літературно-художні антропоніми вказують на національність, соціальний статус, сімейний стан героя, виділяють певні риси характеру чи зовнішності, а також виражають емоційне ставлення до найменованого героя, підтверджують креативність автора у виборі імен і прізвищ.

In the given article, the author deals with the study of one of the pressing issues of modern philological science – the study of the meaning and role of onymic units in the frame of literary and artistic work. The semantics of the names, surnames of the main characters of the novel, the specifics of their dissonant combination in the text have been carefully analyzed on the material of the novel “Old Pegasus Club” by the famous Ukrainian writer Volodymyr Danylenko. Various types of literary and artistic onyms have been revealed. Their structure, functions, the role in the embodiment of the author’s idea have been characterized. The study analyzes the proper names of Volodymyr Danylenko’s novel “Old Pegasus Club”. The names of the main characters, proper names that are part of the title of the novel, as well as place names have been taken into account. It has been found that the writer`s interest is aroused by persons who are significant for modern society, recognizable, due to their popularity, persons who play or played an important role in the historical and cultural life of people. The author does not give their real names, but thanks to the accurate appearance description, actions and deeds, the reader knows the characters, and their names in the text have become charactonyms. A special role in the works by V. Danylenko is given to the names of ancient and biblical origin. In particular, the article explains the symbolism of the name associated with the name of a mythical creature. The semantics of some anthroponyms accurately and unambiguously characterize the characters, providing the reader with additional, connotative information that contains both an indication of certain features of the carrier, and his/her assessment. It is stated that toponyms are an integral feature of Volodymyr Danylenko’s idiosyncrasy. In the novel “Old Pegasus Club”, as in most previous works, the writer uses names that are characterictic of a particular region or city. Toponyms create a chronotopic space and at the same time are a source of cognitive information related to Kyiv or other cities and villages of Ukraine. In turn, literary and artistic anthroponyms indicate the nationality, social status, marital status of the character, highlight certain traits of character or appearance, as well as express the emotional attitude to the named character, prove the author’s creativity in choosing names and surnames.
