Образ учителя на тлі воєнної дійсності в кіноповісті «Повість полум’яних літ» Олександра Довженка та повісті «Танок смерті» Івана Садового

Abstract

У статті визначено своєрідність інтерпретації образу українського вчителя на тлі сповненої трагізму воєнної дійсності в кіноповісті «Повість полум’яних літ» видатного сценариста, кінорежисера і письменника О. Довженка та повісті «Танок смерті» маловідомого літератора Івана Садового (Івана Федорака). Основна увага зосереджена на особливостях характеротворення та ідейному навантаженні персонажів-педагогів у названих творах. Образи вчителів у кіноповісті О. Довженка та повісті І. Садового розкриваються в авторській характеристиці, діях, вчинках, мовленні. З’ясовано, що письменники приділили особливу увагу внутрішньому світу та вчинкам інтелігентів-патріотів у небезпечних для життя воєнних умовах. На творення персонажів-учителів (Василь Маркович, Уляна («Повість полум’яних літ» О. Довженка), Ворон («Танок смерті» Івана Садового)), вірогідно, вплинув педагогічний фах авторів. О. Довженко в образах директора сільської школи Рясного та його доньки Уляни втілив свій ідеал педагога за війни: активна, відповідальна, авторитетна особистість, стійка в патріотичних переконаннях, чиїми діями керує любов до рідної землі, історична пам’ять. Зроблено акцент на автобіографічних елементах як у відображених подіях, так і в характері головного персонажа повісті «Танок смерті» І. Садового. Доведено, що змальовані О. Довженком фрагменти життя педагога на тлі воєнної дійсності типологічно зіставні з відповідними епізодами з твору Івана Садового. Визначено спільне в характерах персонажів-учителів двох письменників: самовідданість у педагогічній праці, незламна вдача, патріотизм, висока моральність. Діями, вчинками, висловленими життєвими принципами, роздумами персонажів О. Довженко та І. Садовий визначили вагому роль педагога в громадському житті, ствердили необхідність його активної громадянської позиції, посилення вимог до особистісних якостей учителя як оборонця й наставника свого народу в складний воєнний час.

The article identifies the peculiarities of interpreting the image of a Ukrainian teacher against the background of the complete tragedy of military reality in the cinema story “The Tale of Fierce Years” by the outstanding scriptwriter, film director and writer O. Dovzhenko, and the novelette “The Dance of Death” by the little-known writer Ivan Sadovy (Ivan Fedorak). The main attention is focused on the peculiarities of characterizing and ideological load of the characterseducators in the named works. The images of teachers in the cinema story of O. Dovzhenko and the novelette of Ivan Sadovy are disclosed in the author's description, in actions, deeds, speech. It was discovered that the writers paid special attention to the inner world and the actions of patriotic intellectuals in life-threatening military conditions. Creating characters of teachers (Vasyl’ Markovych, Ulyana (“The Tale of Fierce Years” by O. Dovzhenko), Voron (“The Dance of Death” by Ivan Sadovy)) probably was influenced by the pedagogical profession of the authors. O. Dovzhenko, in the image of the director of the village school Ryasny and his daughter Ulyana, embodied his ideal of a teacher at war time: an active, responsible, authoritative personality, steady in his/her patriotic beliefs, whose actions are guided by love for the native land, historical memory. The emphasis is on the autobiographical elements both in the displayed events and in the features of the main character of the novelette "The Dance of Death" by Ivan Sadovy. It was proved that the descriptions of the teacher's life on the background of military reality are depicted by O. Dovzhenko typologically comparable with the corresponding episodes from the work of Ivan Sadovy. It was determined that in the features of the characters of the teachers of two writers there is a common characteristics: selflessness in pedagogical work, invincible temper, patriotism, high morality. O. Dovzhenko and Ivan Sadovy determined the role of the teacher in public life, confirmed the necessity of his/her active civic stance, and strengthened the requirements for the personal qualities of the teacher as a defender and mentor of his/her people in a difficult time of war, by actions, deeds, expressed life-principles, thoughts of characters.
