Вплив просодії на ефективність мовлення спортивних коментаторів

Abstract

У статі досліджуються питання, пов’язані з варіативністю просодичних засобів у мовленні коментаторів спортивних програм. Метою дослідження є визначення просодичних особливостей мовлення коментаторів спортивних програм (футбольного коментаря, кінних перегонів) і обґрунтування їх ролі у формуванні ефективності мовлення. Основним завданням пропонованого дослідження є проведення комплексного інструментального аналізу із застосуванням перцептивного і комп’ютерного видів аналізу. Внаслідок проведеного комплексного аналізу було відзначено такі просодичні особливості мовлення спортивних коментаторів: синтагматичне членування мовлення футбольних коментаторів вирізняється наявністю слівфілерів, фальстартів, повторів. У футбольному коментарі превалюють чотирисинтагменні (24,5%) і трисинтагменні (18,5%) фрази. Стосовно темпоральної організації було відзначено такі особливості: у коментарях футбольних матчів швидкість артикуляції збільшується у момент гольової атаки або у момент забиття гола (4,64 скл/с) порівняно з наративним описом подій на полі (4,2 скл/с) та її зменшенням у 10-секундному коментарі після забиття гола. Варіювання швидкості артикуляції у мовленні футбольних коментаторів здійснюється шляхом використання скорочених (clipped syllables) або розтягнутих (drawled syllables) складів. Характерною рисою швидкості мовлення футбольних коментаторів є її пришвидшення на напружених ділянках матчу в моменти атак шляхом збільшення темпу артикуляції та скорочення кількості та тривалості пауз, але уповільнення під час виконання удару по воротах команди суперника незалежно від його результативності. У коментарях кінних перегонів швидкість мовлення знижується у середині коментаря та збільшується у його фінальній частині. Щодо швидкості артикуляції, то вона є найменшою на початку коментаря перегонів (4,64 скл/с). Швидкість артикуляції у середині перегонів може як збільшуватися, так і зменшуватися порівняно з їх початком, що зумовлено динамікою розвитку подій на треку. У межах виконаного комплексного інструментального аналізу досліджувалася сукупність просодичних особливостей мовлення коментаторів футбольних матчів і кінних перегонів.

The article investigates the questions related to variations of prosodic features in the speech of sports commentators. The aim of the research is to define the prosodic features of the speech of sports commentators (football and horse racing commentary) and substantiate their role in the formation of speech effectiveness. The major task of the proposed research is to conduct a complex instrumental analysis based on perceptive and computer types of analysis. The syntagmatic division of the speech of sports commentators is distinguished by the inclusion of filler words, false starts, repetitions. The phrases comprising four (24,5%) or three (18,5%) syntagmas prevail in the speech of football commentators. Concerning temporal organization, the following peculiarities were highlighted. In football commentaries the articulation rate increases at the moment of goal attack or goal scoring (4,64 syllables per second) in comparison to the narrative description of the events on the football field (4,2 syllables per second) and decreasing of the rate in a 10-second commentary after scoring a goal. Variation of the articulation rate in the speech of sports commentators is implemented by the use of clipped or drawled syllables. The peculiarity of the rate of speech of football commentators’ speech rate is its acceleration during tense moments of goal attacks by means of increasing the articulation rate and decreasing the amount and duration of pauses, while the slowing down is noted at the moment of goal scoring opportunity, regardless of its outcome. In horse racing commentaries the speech rate decreases in the middle of the commentary and increases in its final part. The articulation rate is considered to be the slowest at the beginning of the horse racing commentary (4,64 syllables per minute). The articulation rate in the middle of the horse race may both increase and decrease in comparison to the beginning due to the dynamics on the track. The complex of the prosodic features of speech of football and horse racing commentators were examined within the framework of the conducted complex instrumental analysis.
