Лексема władza в словниках польської мови

Abstract

У статті розглянуто семантизацію іменника władza в лексикографічних джерелах польської мови. Проаналізовано словникові статті лексеми władza в чотирнадцяти загальних словниках, серед яких п’ять історичних і дев’ять сучасних. Матеріалом дослідження є 63 дефініції лексеми władza, почерпнуті зі згаданих лексикографічних джерел польської мови. Зосереджено увагу на ключових етапах і способах зміни значень лексеми władza й типах зв’язку, що виникає між різними її значеннями. Аналіз дефініцій іменника władza, почерпнутих із загальних словників польської мови, засвідчує генералізацію значення іменника władza, а також зміну основного значення слова. У результаті зіставлення словникових дефініцій простежено зміну основного значення слова władza зі ‘спроможність, вроджена сила, спрямована на володіння частинами тіла або чим завгодно’ на ‘право на управління або керування кимось’. На матеріалі історичних і сучасних лексикографічних джерел польської мови зафіксовано розширення значення слова władza. Так, кількість значень аналізованого слова збільшується з одного (‘правління над ким; командування’) в онлайн-виданні «Електронний словник польської мови XVII і XVIII століття» до десяти в «Іншому словнику польської мови» за редакцією М. Банька. Між значеннями слова władza простежуємо різні типи семантичних зв’язків. Наприклад, ланцюгова полісемія виникає між значеннями іменника władza, поданими в «Словнику польської мови» за редакцією А. Здановича та ін. (1861); радіально-ланцюгову полісемію простежуємо між дев’ятьма значеннями іменника władza, зафіксованими в «Словнику польської мови» за редакцією Я. Карловича, А.А. Кринського та В. Недзведзького (1919), і між чотирма значеннями іменника władza в «Словнику польської мови» за редакцією М. Шимчака (1981); радіальна полісемія виникає між трьома значеннями іменника władza, зафіксованими в «Словнику правильної польської мови» за редакцією В. Дорошевського (1973). Зауважуємо також перенесення значення іменника władza як права керувати кимось на осіб, які мають таке право, тобто метонімізацію значення аналізованого слова.

The article considers the semanticization of the noun władza in lexicographic sources of the Polish language. The dictionary articles of the lexeme władza were analyzed in fourteen general dictionaries, including five historical and nine modern dictionaries. The research is based on 63 definitions of the lexeme władza, which were gathered from mentioned lexicographical sources of the Polish language. The attention is paid to the key stages and ways of changes of the meanings of the lexeme władza and types of connections that appear between its different meanings. The analysis of definitions of the noun władza, gathered from general dictionaries of the Polish language, shows the generalization of the meaning of the noun władza and also the change of the main meaning of the word. As a result of matching word definitions, the change of the main meaning of word władza from ‘ability, natural power to control body parts or anything else’ to ‘the right to control somebody’ is seen. Based on the materials of historical and modern lexicographical sources of the Polish language extension of the meaning of the word władza is observed. The quantity of meanings of analyzed word is increased from one (‘control of somebody; command’) in online edition “Electronic dictionary of the Polish language XVII and XVIII centuries” to ten in “Another dictionary of the Polish language” edited by M. Banko. Different types of semantic relations between meanings of the word władza are seen. For example, in “Dictionary of the Polish language” edited by A. Zdanowicz et al. (1861) chain polysemy between meanings of the noun władza is seen; radial-chain polysemy is traced between nine meanings of the noun władza which is fixated in “Dictionary of the Polish language” edited by J. Karlowicz, A.A. Krynski and W. Niedzwiedzki (1919), and between four meanings of the noun władza in “Dictionary of the Polish language” edited by M. Szymczak (1981); radial polysemy appears between three meanings of the noun władza shown in “Dictionary of the correct Polish language” edited by W. Doroszewski (1973). Transfer of the meaning of the noun władza is also noticed from the right to control somebody to people who have such right, so there is meaning metonimization of analyzed word.
