Abstract:	У статті автор аналізує основні процеси, які передували подіям «Празької весни» у Чехословаччині наприкінці 1950-х – у середині 1960-х років. Йдеться про політичні зміни, соціально-економічні перетворення та реакцію на них у суспільстві. Охарактеризовано також зовнішній вплив на розвиток подій у Чехословаччині у зазначений період. In the article, the author analyzes the main processes, which were prior to the events of «The Prague Spring» in Czechoslovakia at the end of 1950-ies in the middle of 1960-ies. The political changes, social and economictransformations and the reaction of the society are under consideration. An external influence on the events`development in Czechoslovakia, in the period mentioned above, is characterized.
