Духновичі і Ґербери: походження та історія родин народного будителя карпатських русинів Александра Духновича

Abstract

При незліченному числові праць про життєвий і творчий шлях різних відомих, визначних та видатних діячів минулого всі вони насамперед були чиїмись дітьми і онуками, братами і сестрами, чоловіками і дружинами, батьками, дідусями і бабусями, близькими і далекими родичами... Таким був і залишається Александр Духнович (1803–1865) – один із трьох найвизначніших карпатських русинів (інші двоє – му- качівський єпископ Андрій Бачинський та прем’єр-міністр Підкарпатської Русі і президент одноденної республіки Карпатської України о. Августин Волошин). Дане дослідження присвячено походженню та історії двох родин народного будителя – Духновичам по лінії батька Василя і Ґерберам по лінії матері Марії. Також у нарисі розглядається московське походження предків Александра Духновича від «князя Міхаїла Черкасского», з’ясовано обставини появи за Карпатами в Старинській долині інших двох московських утікачів – Ґербера і Брили. Автор описує всі місця, де жили батьки народного будителя Василь Духнович і Марія Ґербері (села Уліч Крива, Тополя і Стащин), подає максимальну інформацію про історію братів і сестер Александра (всіх їх разом із ним було 11), народження і перші роки його життя в Тополі, розповідає про обставини смерті батька (1816) та матері (1843). В роботі простежено життєві долі чотирьох сестер Александра, які вижили в дитинстві, вийшли заміж, створили свої сім’ї та продовжили рід Духновичів у інших родах – Невицьких, Даніловичів, Баранковичів і Купків-Мірошшаїв, а відтак в родині Натолі. Окремо автор зупиняє увагу на приватному житті Александра, зокрема, його ліричних віршах до коханих дівчат чи жінок, серед яких були Юлія (одружена Яроміс), якась Марі? та шляхтянки Аполонія Кіш, її донька Клотільда і племінница Терезія Станкай. До всіх них серце молодого та літнього Духновича билося по-особливому. На завершення у даній статті проаналізовано місце живих сестер та їхніх дітей у заповіті (тестаменті) Александра Духновича, його останні роки життя, обставини смерті та поховання в крипті Катедрального собору Йоанна Хрестителя в Пряшеві (1865). Автор упевнений, що питання, які порушено або висвітлено в даному дослідженні, істотно доповнять велику скарбницю духновичезнавства та спонукатиме інших до нових студій з історії невичерпного карпатознавства.

Despite innumerable number of works on the life and creative path of various famous, prominent and outstanding figures of the past, all of them were, first of all, someone‘s children and grandchildren, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, parents, grandparents, close and distant relatives. Alexander Dukhnovych (1803–1865) was and still is one of the three most prominent Carpathian Ruthenians (the other two are bishop of the Mukachevo Diocese Andriy Bachynskyi and the Prime Minister of Subcarpathian Rus‘ and the President of the one-day republic of Carpathian Ukraine Fr. Avgustyn Voloshyn). This study is devoted to the origin and history of two families of the folk revivalist – the Dukhnovychs on the his father‘s line Vasyl and the Gerbers on the mother‘s line Maria. The essay also examines the Moscow origin of Alexander Dukhnovych’s ancestors from “Prince Mikhail of Cherkaskyі”, are clarified the circumstances of their appearance in Starynska Dolina beyond the Carpathians other two Moscow fugitives – Gerber and Bryla. The author describes all the places where the parents of the people‘s awakener Vasyl Dukhnovych and Maria Gerber lived (the villages of Ulich Kryva, Topolya and Stashchyn), provides maximum information about the history of Alexander‘s brothers and sisters (all together, including him, there were 11), his birth and the first years of his life in Topolya, tells about the circumstances of the death of his father (1816) and mother (1843). The work traces the life destinies of Alexander‘ s four sisters, who survived childhood, got married, created their own families and continued the Dukhnovych family in other families – Nevytskyi, Danilovych, Barankovych and Kupka-Miroshshai, and therefore in Natola‘s family. Separately the author draws attention to Alexander‘s private life, in particular, his lyrical poems to beloved girls or women, among whom were Julia (married to Jaromis), some Marie? and noblewomen Apolonia Kish, her daughter Clotilda and niece Theresia Stankai. To all of them, the heart of young and old Dukhnovych beat in a special way. In conclusion in this article analyzes the place of the living sisters and their children in the testament of Alexander Dukhnovych, his last years of life, the circumstances of his death and burial in the crypt of the Cathedral of John the Baptist in Preshov (1865). The author sure, of the issues raised that was illuminated in this research a perfect addition to the great treasury of knowledge about Dukhnovych and will encourage others to new studies on the history of inexhaustible Carpathian studies.
