Епітет як елемент формування індивідуально-авторського стилю (на матеріалі поезії А. Фета)

Abstract

У статті наведено визначення поняття «епітет». У дослідженні ставиться завдання розглянути епітет як засіб відображення індивідуально-авторського стилю А. Фета. Проблематичність досліджень епітету викликана складністю та багатоаспектністю самого поняття. Як стилістичний засіб емоційно-образного відображення конструктів художнього тексту, епітет є складним і багатогранним явищем, здатним відображати авторський стиль письменника, культуру народу, специфіку літературної мови. Багатоаспектність та різнобічне використання епітетів у художній літературі актуалізують їх можливості у підвищенні ефективності навчання мови, що безпосередньо пов’язано з психологічними особливостями процесу сприйняття та відтворення об’єктів та явищ навколишньої дійсності. Чим яскравіше і емоційніше сприймається образ, тим якісніше його осмислення та запам’ятовування, а згодом і його відтворення, що доводить ефективність сприйняття людиною епітетів. На першому етапі дослідження було проведено огляд наукової літератури на тему дослідження з виділенням основних наукових концепцій сучасних дослідників. На другому етапі проаналізовано та розкрито особливості та типові характеристики епітетів у поетичних текстах А. Фета. Мовне багатство і здатність до відображення мовних традицій певного народу, епохи, культури притаманно епітетам. Епітети, як лінгвістична одиниця дають можливість виділити характерність предмета або явища з однорідних, точніше висловити свою думку. У статті наявні різноманітні точки зору на сутність епітета як стилістичної фігури, що привносить у характеристику предмета нову ознаку, визначено вирішальні фактори у формуванні епітета, виявлено особливості вживання епитета як специфічного засобу поетичної мови, описано функції епітета як образного означення, проаналізовано та типологізовано конструкції з використанням епитетів, що формують індивідуально-авторський стиль А. Фета.

The article provides a definition of the concept of «epithet». The research aims to consider the epithet as a way of displaying the individual author’s style of A. Fet. The problematic nature of epithet studies is caused by the complexity and multidimensional nature of the concept itself. As a stylistic means of emotionally-figurative display of the constructs of a literary text, the epithet is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that can reflect the author’s style of the writer, the culture of the people, the specifics of the literary language. The multidimensionality and versatile use of epithets in fiction actualize their possibilities in increasing the effectiveness of teaching a foreign language, which is directly related to the psychological characteristics of the process of perception and reproduction of objects and phenomena of the surrounding reality. The brighter and more emotional the perceived image, the better its comprehension and memorization, and subsequently its reproduction, which proves the effectiveness of human perception of epithets. At the first stage of the study, a review of the scientific literature on the research topic was carried out, highlighting the main scientific concepts of modern researchers. At the second stage, the features and typical characteristics of epithets in the poetic texts of A. Fet are analyzed and revealed. Linguistic richness and the ability to reflect the linguistic traditions of a certain people, era, culture are characteristic of epithets. Epithets, as a linguistic unit, make it possible to distinguish the characteristic of an object or phenomenon from a number of homogeneous ones, to express one's idea more precisely. Еpithet is a figurative characteristic of a certain person, phenomenon or object. The article presents different points of view on the essence of epithet as a stylistic figure, identifies decisive factors in creating epithet, reveals the features of using epithet as a specific means of poetic language, describes the functions of epithet as a specific means of poetic language, analyzed and typologized constructions using epithet that form the individual author's style of A. Fet.
