Актуальність застосування успішного досвіду Великої Британії в галузі дистанційної освіти навчальними закладами вищої освіти України

Abstract

У статті розглянутий успішний досвід багаторічного функціонування дистанційного навчання у вищих навчальних закладах Великої Британії, оскільки саме ця країна є провідною серед інших економічно розвинених країн Європи, має високий рівень розвитку науки завдяки функціонуванню науково обґрунтованої, гнучкої та варіативної структури освітньої системи, в т.ч. широко розгалуженої дистанційної освіти. Отже врахування досвіду цієї країни цілком актуально для активного впровадження в освітній простір України. У процесі дослідження вивчались чинники ефективності дистанційного навчання у ВНЗ Великої Британії, а саме організація дистанційного навчання на засадах сучасних освітніх парадигм. Зроблена спроба подати перспективну модель дистанційного навчання у вербальному викладі, з врахуванням таких індикаторів компетентності, як фахова освіта, фахові уміння та навички, соціально-культурні надбання, фахова активність, тощо. Проте, проблема розвитку та функціонування дистанційного навчання в цій країні не була предметом спеціальних педагогічних досліджень. Вивчення та аналіз літератури з окресленої теми дослідження свідчать, що її теоретичні та прикладні аспекти висвітлені недостатньо. За результатами вивчених джерел зроблено спробу розробити вербальну модель випускника системи дистанційного навчання іноземних мов у Великій Британії, в якій визначено індикатори та характерні ознаки компетентності студентів як передбачуваного кінцевого результату діяльності навчального закладу, що надає освітні послуги на відстані. Виявлення і творче використання раціональних ідей досвіду Великої Британії у впровадженні системи дистанційного навчання сприятиме, на наш погляд, теоретичному та прикладному обґрунтуванню шляхів ефективного становлення дистанційної освіти в Україні.

The article observes the successful experience of long-term functioning of distance learning in higher education institutions of the United Kingdom, since this country takes the leading position among other economically developed countries in Europe, has a high level of scientific development due to the functioning of a scientifically based, flexible and variable structure of the educational system, including a widespread distance education. Therefore, taking into account the experience of this country is quite relevant for active implementation in the educational space of Ukraine. In the course of investigation, the factors of the effectiveness of distance learning in the United Kingdom universities were studied, namely the organization of distance learning based on modern educational paradigms. An attempt was made to present a promising model of distance learning in a verbal presentation, taking into account such indicators of competence as professional education, professional skills, social and cultural heritage, professional activity, etc. However, the problem of the development and functioning of distance learning in this country has not been the subject of special pedagogical research. The study and analysis of the literature on this research topic indicate that its theoretical and applied aspects are not sufficiently covered. Based on the results of the studied sources, an attempt to develop a verbal model of a graduate of the distance learning system of foreign languages in the UK was made, which identifies indicators and characteristic features of students’ competence as the expected final result of an educational institution activity providing educational services at a distance. Identification and creative application of rational ideas of the UK experience in the implementation of the distance learning system will, in our opinion, contribute to the theoretical and applied substantiation of the effective development of distance education in Ukraine.
