Професійні позначення у внутрішній формі фразеологічних одиниць як етнокультурні маркери мовної картини світу

Abstract

У статті досліджено фразеологічні одиниці української, англійської та німецької мов з компонентами-професійними позначеннями крізь призму їхнього етнокультурного змісту й вираження національного менталітету. Наведено визначення понять «концептуальна картина світу» та «мовна картина світу», проаналізовано їхню специфіку. Здійснено аналіз внутрішньої форми досліджуваних фразеологізмів та простежено роль фахової назви у формуванні цілісного змісту фразем. Зазначено, що світ професій, представлений у стійких виразах, характеризується як універсальністю, так і особливостями національного сприйняття. Інтерпретація значень професій часто спричинена національно-культурною специфікою, адже внутрішня форма фразеологізмів відтворює умови життя людей в той чи інший час, певні історичні події, державний устрій, традиції і вірування того чи іншого народу. Встановлено, що низка виразів із компонентами-професіями є іменами літературних персонажів або їх висловлюваннями, які набули символічного значення. Виявлено, що значний вплив на формування англомовної картини світу мала творчість Шекспіра. Серед фразеологічних одиниць української мови виокремлено прикмети з професійними позначеннями, що мають форму порад щодо господарської діяльності людини та є пов’язаними з певними датами, особливо святами. У статті продемонстровано, що особливості функціонування професійних позначень у складі фразеологізмів зумовлені як внутрішніми, так і зовнішніми чинниками. У внутрішньомовному плані семантична еволюція цих слів відбувається в контексті образного переосмислення зафіксованої у внутрішній формі фраземи конкретної ситуації, у структурі якої фігурує особа певної професії. У зовнішньомовному плані використання професійних позначень у внутрішньофразеологічному контексті є прагматично детермінованим, утілюючи в собі бачення призначення професій, їхню суть та характеристики людей, що задіяні у відповідній сфері виробництва, послуг тощо.

The article studies Ukrainian, English and German idioms with components denoting professions through the prism of their ethnic and cultural content and national mentality expression. Definitions of the terms «world’s conceptual picture» and «world’s linguistic picture» are given, their specifics is analyzed. The inner structure of idiomatic phrases with professional denotations has been traced, in particular the latters’ role in the formation of overall phrase meaning. It is stated that the world of professions, presented in set phrases is characterized as universal as well as influenced by national perception. The interpretation of professions’ meanings is often ethnically and culturally specific, as the inner structure of corresponding phraseological items reflects the conditions of people’s lives and activities at certain periods of history or during certain historical events as well as state systems they lived under, their traditions and beliefs etc. It has been revealed that a number of expressions with professional components are the names of literary characters or their statements that have acquired symbolic meanings. It has been found that Shakespeare’s work had a significant influence on the formation of the English-language picture of the world. Among the phraseological items of the Ukrainian language, there are omens containing professional denotations, which have the form of advice on a person’s economic activity and are associated with certain dates, especially holidays. The article shows that the way professional denotations function within the structure of phraseological items is conditioned by both internal and external factors. From the intralinguistic perspective, the semantic evolution of these words takes place in the context of figurative reinterpretation of an inner form describing a specific situation and including a designation of a person by their profession. From the extralinguistic perspective, the use of professional denotations in the inner phraseological context is pragmatically determined, reflecting notions concerning the purpose of professions, their nature and characteristics of people involved in relevant spheres of production, services etc.
