Основні принципи та прийоми втілення філософських тенденцій у романі А. Мердок «Чорний принц»

Abstract

У статті всебічно розглянуто роман А. Мердок «Чорний принц» як психологічний роман із філософською тенденцією, в основу котрого покладено різні аспекти філософських знань: філософії Платона, екзистенціалізму й психоаналітичної концепції; зазначено, що багатоплановість філософських тенденцій і жанрова форма психологічного роману зумовлюють інтелектуалізацію та метафоричність твору, пов’язану з багатогранним потрактуванням образу чорного принца й аполлонічного начала як синтезу кохання й творчого осяяння, а також із репрезентацією психологічного мотивування поведінки і вчинків центральних персонажів; зазначено такі основоположні засоби втілення філософських тенденцій, як оповідна і драматична форми, котрі дозволяють інтелектуалізувати рефлексію головного героя та динамізувати оповідь, форма містифікації зі «знайденим рукописом», що значно ускладнюють сюжетну й архітектонічну побудову твору; окреслено описовий і подієвий типи організації текстової єдності твору та визначено їхні комунікативні завдання, покликані сприяти підвищенню інформаційної навантаженості твору; охарактеризовано описовий тип як засіб уведення інтелектуальних роздумів про життя, мистецтво й рефлексій афористичного характеру та подієвий тип як засіб надання випадковостям причинно-наслідкового зв’язку, що виявляється у хронологічній, ретроспективній і монтажній формах; визначено конструктивний прийом симетризації на рівні архітектоніки й основних мотивів сюжету та виокремлено основні мотиви, які стають основою сюжетобудови – істинної і поверхневої творчості, вбивства, кохання, що пронизують увесь твір.

The article comprehensively considers I. Murdoch's novel "The Black Prince" as a psychological novel with a philosophical tendency, which is based on various aspects of philosophical knowledge: Plato's philosophy, existentialism and psychoanalytic concepts; it is noted that the multifaceted philosophical tendencies and genre form of the psychological novel determine the intellectualization and metaphorical nature of the work associated with the multifaceted interpretation of the image of the Black Prince and the Apollonian principle as a synthesis of love and creative enlightenment, as well as with the representation of the psychological motivation of the behavior and actions of the central characters; the basic means of expressing philosophical tendencies, such as narrative and dramatic forms, which allow to intellectualize the main character's reflection and dynamize the story, the form of mystification with "found manuscript", which significantly complicate the plot and architectonic construction of the work; descriptive and event types of organization of textual unity of the work are outlined together with defining their communicative tasks, which are designed to help increase the information load of the work; descriptive type is characterized as a means of introducing intellectual reflections on life, art and reflections of aphoristic nature and event type as a means of providing causality to chance, which is manifested in chronological, retrospective and montage forms; the constructive method of symmetry at the level of architectonics and the main motives of the plot are determined; the main motives that become the basis of the plot structure are singled out - true and superficial creativity, murder, love, which permeate the whole work.
