Функціонування англіцизмів у мові сучасних українських масмедіа: лінгвоекологічний аспект

Abstract

У статті розглянуто функціонування в сучасному медіатексті англіцизмів, які останнім часом значно активізувалися. Ці запозичення номінують нові процеси, явища, предмети та ознаки, що з’явилися на сучасному етапі розвитку людства. Зазначено, що іншомовні лексеми здатні замінити та витіснити питомі українські слова. Зосереджено увагу на дослідженні чинників і процесів, що або негативно, або позитивно впливають на стан та розвиток мови як знакової системи. Особливу увагу приділено експансії іншомовних слів, зокрема запозичень з англійської мови. Закцентовано увагу на новій галузі мовознавства – еколінгвістиці, адже саме ця наукова галузь об’єднує екологію й лінгвістику та вивчає взаємодію між мовою, людиною як мовною особистістю і навколишнім середовищем та перебуває в процесі активного становлення. Досліджено, що в українській мові серед запозиченої та іншомовної лексики перебувають саме англіцизми. Вони проникають майже в усі сфери життя соціуму, що дає змогу виокремити тематичні групи їх функціонування у мові масмедіа: «Політика», «Економіка», «Наука й техніка», «Спорт», «Засоби масової комунікації» тощо. Кожна із названих тематичних груп містить англіцизми, поява яких в українській мові зумовлена потребою найменування нової реалії. Глобалізаційні процеси, що відбуваються в сучасному світі, охопили практично всі сфери суспільного життя, тому межі вживання й активного запозичення англіцизмів не завжди чітко окреслені.. Зроблено висновки, що в мові друкованих ЗМІ лексико-семантична система й надалі продовжує розвиватися в руслі тенденції інтернаціоналізації, або глобалізації, що засвідчує активне запозичення іншомовної лексики, зокрема в мову масмедіа активно проникають англіцизми, що позначають сучасні реалії, пов’язані з наукою й технікою, суспільно політичними процесами та ін. З’ясовано, що англіцизми значно впливають на формування сучасного словника. Однак, не варто допускати, щоб будь-які запозичення входили в мову стихійно та невмотивовано, адже часто яскраве та привабливе запозичене слово може бути непродуктивним у системі сучасної української мови та засмічувати її. Саме екологія мови вивчає негативні тенденції у слововживанні іншомовних слів, а також шляхи збагачення і вдосконалення мовлення, що є важливим та актуальним питанням.

The article examines the functioning of anglicisms in modern media texts, which have become significantly more active recently. These borrowings nominate new processes, phenomena, objects and signs that have appeared at the modern stage of human development. It is noted that foreign lexemes are capable of replacing and displacing specific Ukrainian words. Attention is focused on the study of factors and processes that either negatively or positively affect the state and development of language as a sign system. Special attention is paid to the expansion of foreign words, in particular borrowings from the English language. Attention is focused on a new field of linguistics – ecolinguistics, because it is this scientific field that combines ecology and linguistics and studies the interaction between language, a person as a linguistic individual and the environment and is in the process of active formation. It has been studied that in the Ukrainian language there are anglicisms among borrowed and foreign vocabulary. They penetrate into almost all spheres of social life, which makes it possible to single out thematic groups of their functioning in the language of the mass media: "Politics", "Economy", "Science and technology", "Sports", "Means of mass communication", etc. Each of the named thematic groups contains anglicisms, the appearance of which in the Ukrainian language is due to the need to name a new reality. Globalization processes taking place in the modern world have covered almost all spheres of social life, therefore the boundaries of the use and active borrowing of anglicisms are not always clearly defined. It was concluded that the lexical-semantic system in the language of print media continues to develop in line with the trend of internationalization, or globalization, which testifies to the active borrowing of foreign vocabulary, in particular, anglicisms are actively penetrating the language of the mass media, which denote modern realities related to science and technology, socio-political processes, etc. It was found that anglicisms significantly influence the formation of modern vocabulary. However, one should not allow any borrowings to enter the language spontaneously and unmotivated, because often a bright and attractive borrowed word can be unproductive in the system of the modern Ukrainian language and clog it up. It is the ecology of language that studies negative trends in the use of foreign words, as well as ways of enriching and improving speech, which is an important and urgent issue.
