| Abstract: | Kostya Vahylevytch was аn heir to the well-known Ivan Vahylevytch, one of the editors of «Dnister Mermaid».He was born and schooled in Halytchyna, but in the 1920-1930ies he lived and worked in Transcarpathia, and glorified the Carpathian land where реорІе toiled in his sonnets.He also wrote twelve sonnets about Slovakia, and some poems about Prague and Poland. After the Second World War he emigrated to the USA. Не died and is buried in Prague. |
