| Abstract: | The article deals with the comparative analysis of structural semantic peculiarities of Ukrainian and English folk handicraft vocabulary. lt is ascertained, that there are а number of common features іn both languages. However, taking into account the appurtenance of Ukrainian and English to different language families, а number of structural and semantic discrepancies are fixed in the lexis under investigation. |
