| Abstract: | The mаіn tendencies of the language of modern Ukrainian printed mass media include numerous loans from different languages (mostly English loan-words); actualizing а large part of the vocabulary, which was limited bу sphere of using earlier; appearing а great group of neologisms in result of word-formation; the process of determinologization of narrow-specialized words and word-combinations; metaphorical using of words, new interpretation of their meanings; enlarging the valency of words; using the spoken vocabulary in journalistic texts and so on. |
