Abstract

The onomasticon of belles-lettres is а clear-cut and integrated system, а sort of the onymic field, in which the onyms of different classes as parts of the onymic text space are closely connected. The specifity of the literary-feature zoonym is rather clear-cut: а writer usually takes into account the traditions of Ukrainian literary-feature onomastics, which requires "impressive" names. The empiric substantiation of language material testifies to а significant variety of literary-feature zoonyms not only from the point of view of their semantic transformation and functional loading, but also taking into account their wordstock
