Риторичні засоби творення текстової єдності статті У. Самчука «Нарід чи чернь?»

Abstract

Дослідження присвячено аналізу риторичних засобів, що сприяли інтеграції текстової єдності статті У. Самчука «Нарід чи чернь?», написаної письменником-публіцистом у воєнний період репортерської та редакторської діяльності; означену статтю розглянуто з огляду на стилістику ораторської промови; визначено стилістичні особливості статті, зумовлені риторичними прийомами та експліцитною полемічністю, за допомогою яких автор прагне здійснити безпосередній комунікативний вплив, переконання і спонукання, та зазначено особливості архітектонічної побудови текстової єдності статті; окреслено основні риторичні й конструктивні прийоми, котрі використовує автор – риторичні питання, єдність питання-відповіді, що утворюють питально-відповідальний комплекс і протиставлення, контраст, анафора, розподіл, повтори, простий перелік, динамічний перелік, кільцювання; вирізнено контрастний і ступеневий способи розгортання тези, які обрано письменником-публіцистом для активізації, та методи аргументування, котрі він використовує для обґрунтування своєї концепції – метод протиставлення (сприяє протиставленню антагоністичних підходів до вирішення проблеми й створенню контрасту); метод потенціювання (допомагає авторові відповідно до своїх інтересів висувати на перший план те, що є доцільним в інтересах визначеної цільової установки); метод ствердження висновків (дозволяє за допомогою часткових узагальнень прийти до конкретного висновку); зазначено основні прийоми логічної аргументації (аргумент з досвіду, приклад у протилежність), засоби психологічного впливу (пафос, аргумент до однакового розуміння) та етичні прийоми переконання (аргумент до норми, аргумент до антинорми); названо три комунікативні центри статті, що уподібнюють її до тексту промови – автор, ідейні супротивники й адресат, засоби створення експліцитної полемічності – послідовна репрезентація протиставлення двох антагоністичних ідеологій (національної української і більшовицької), сарказм, різкі оцінювальні судження й протиставлення.

The study is devoted to the analysis of rhetorical means that contributed to the integration of the textual unity of U. Samchuk's article "A nation or mob?", written by a writer-publicist during the wartime period of reporting and editorial activity; the mentioned article was considered with regard to the stylistics of the oratorical speech; the stylistic features of the article determined by rhetorical techniques and explicit polemics, with the help of which the author seeks to exert direct communicative influence, persuasion and encouragement, and the features of the architectural construction of the textual unity of the article are specified; the main rhetorical and constructive techniques used by the author are outlined – rhetorical questions, unity of question-answers forming a question-answer complex and opposition, contrast, anaphora, distribution, repetitions, simple list, dynamic list, ringing; the contrasting and graded ways of developing the thesis chosen by the publicist writer for activation and the argumentation methods he uses to justify his concept are distinguished – the method of opposition (contributes to contrasting antagonistic approaches to solving the problem and creating a contrast); the method of potentiation (helps the author, in accordance with his interests, to bring to the fore what is expedient in the interests of the specified target setting); method of asserting conclusions (allows to come to a specific conclusion with the help of partial generalizations); the main methods of logical argumentation (argument from experience, example to the contrary), means of psychological influence (pathos, argument to the same understanding) and ethical methods of persuasion (argument to the norm, argument to the anti-norm) are indicated; three communicative centers of the article are named, which compare it to the text of a speech – the author, ideological opponents and the addressee, means of creating explicit polemics – a consistent representation of the opposition of two antagonistic ideologies (national Ukrainian and Bolshevik), sarcasm, sharp evaluative judgments and opposition.
