Abstract

У статті актуалізовано увагу на значенні Біблії для світової людської спільноти та на її впливові на культурний розвиток людства загалом. Зазначено, що не всі біблійні тексти є розкодовані на сьогодні і багато з них ще чекають на своїх дослідників. Безпосередньо у цьому дослідженні йдеться про поетичне змалювання біблійної події знищення Содому та трагічну долю дружини Лота на тлі тих подій. Пильну увагу сконцентровано на образі Лотової дружини у контексті розмислів над причинами її непослуху і втраті нею життя через той непослух. Деякими авторами зроблено припущення, що покарання є неспівмірним із вчинком, тобто покарання занадто суворе. І все ж, у процесі розмірковувань над змістом віршів різних поетів на задану тему зроблено висновки, що такий вчинок є гріховним, оскільки дорівнюється до підглядання за діями Бога. Таке трактування події відправляє до порівняння з іншою біблійною подією: Божим покаранням Адама і Єви, а саме: вигнанням прабатьків людства з Раю, які дочасно зірвали плід із дерева пізнання. Окрім образу дружини Лота, в усіх цих віршових переспівах біблійної події чітко виокремлено образ соляного стовпа, що на нього перетворилася покарана. Той образ викликає окремі розмірковування та трактування. По-перше, стовп загалом асоціюється з чимсь нерухомим, затверділим, неживим, але довговічним. Що ж до того, що стовп саме із солі, то тут теж наявні різні трактування, адже сіль використовують і як оберіг від зурочення, і як знаряддя для знищення. Висловлено припущення, що сіль (соляний стовп), на який перетворилася дружина Лота, тут виконав роль оберегу-межі між добром і злом. Наявний також у деяких із обговорюваних віршів мотив гендерної нерівності у старозаповітній людській спільноті, який викликає різні тлумачення та тарактування. Наскрізною у всіх цих творах є думка про те, що людина ще не визріла до зірвання всіх плодів із дерева пізнання, не доросла до його осягнення, не підкріпила ще належною духовною еволюцією. Авторами висловлено переконання про поступовість набуття знань людством, яке повинно дорости до тих знань, мусить пройти стан духовного визрівання для адекватного сприйняття і використання багатьох знань та усвідомлення істин, описаних, зокрема, й у біблійних текстах.

The article focuses on the importance of the Bible for the global human community and its influence on the cultural development of humanity in general. It is noted that not all biblical texts have been decoded today and many of them are still waiting for their researchers. This study directly deals with the poetic depiction of the biblical event of the destruction of Sodom and the tragic fate of Lot's wife against the background of those events. Close attention is focused on the image of Lot's wife in the context of reflections on the reasons for her disobedience and her loss of life due to that disobedience. Some authors have made the assumption that the punishment is disproportionate to the act, that is, the punishment is too severe. And yet, in the process of reflecting on the content of poems by various poets on a given topic, conclusions were drawn that such an act is sinful, as it is tantamount to spying on the actions of God. This interpretation of the event leads to a comparison with another biblical event: God's punishment of Adam and Eve, namely: the expulsion of the ancestors of mankind from Paradise, who prematurely plucked the fruit from the tree of knowledge. In addition to the image of Lot's wife, in all these verse recitations of the biblical event, the image of the pillar of salt, which was transformed into the punishment, is clearly distinguished. That image causes separate reflections and interpretations. First, a pillar is generally associated with something immobile, hardened, lifeless, but durable. As for the fact that the pillar is made of salt, there are also different interpretations here, because salt is used both as a talisman against bad luck and as a tool for destruction. It has been suggested that the salt (pillar of salt), which Lot’s wife turned into, here performed the role of a talisman, the boundary between good and evil. Also present in some of the discussed verses is the motif of gender inequality in the Old Testament human community, which causes different interpretations and interpretations. Permeating all these works is the idea that a person has not yet matured to pluck all the fruits from the tree of knowledge, has not matured to grasp it, has not yet strengthened it with proper spiritual evolution. The authors expressed their conviction about the gradual acquisition of knowledge by humanity, which must grow to that knowledge, must undergo a state of spiritual maturation for adequate perception and use of many knowledge and awareness of truths described, in particular, in biblical texts.
