| Abstract: | ln the given article the results of the investigation of the artistic functions of proper names in the works of the Russian writer V.Rasputin have been given. Socio-philosophical background of proper nowns in the short novel "Live and Remember" has been revealed. The ability to work with the proper names of the characters, shown in the article, may serve as а justi-fication of the writer's mastery. |
