Навчання нормам лексичної сполучуваності на заняттях з англійської мови

Abstract

У статті розглядається проблема засвоєння норм лексичної сполучуваності, яка є особливо актуальною на сучасному етапі навчання у зв'язку з ускладненням комунікативних завдань. Авторами статті висвітлене важливе питання дотримання мовних норм у мовленнєвій практиці, оскільки пріоритетними напрямами державної освітньої політики щодо підготовки кадрів високого рівня є розвиток і підвищення рівня мовленнєвої культури як основоположної компетентності фахівців будь-якої сфери. Актуальність дослідження зумовлена тим, що однією із професійних якостей фахівця є володіння лексичними нормами і безпосереднє дотримання їх у комунікативній діяльності. Мета дослідження полягає у виявленні способів засвоєння норм лексичної сполучуваності на просунутому етапі навчання англійської мови у зв’язку з ускладненням комунікативних завдань на цьому етапі вивчення мови. Для досягнення поставленої мети автори статті з’ясували причини порушення правил слововживання; проаналізували виявлені порушення норм лексичної семантики; запропонувати способи уникнення недоліків у мовленнєво-професійній діяльності, пов’язаних з лексичними помилками. У статті подано раціональні рекомендації для усунення недоліків мовлення, пов’язаних з порушенням правил слововживання, наводяться приклади вправ для вироблення навичок лексичної сполучуваності слів на заняттях з англійської мови. Автори доходять висновку, що навчання кодифікованих норм слововживання доцільно вибудовувати на основі вправ як рецептивного, так і продуктивного характеру, причому останні завдання найефективніші в тому разі, якщо містять творчий елемент. Невід’ємним компонентом навчання лексичної сполучуваності є формування стратегій самостійного оволодіння її нормами.

The article deals with the problem of learning lexical compatibility norms, which becomes especially relevant at the advanced stage of learning due to the complexity of communicative tasks. The authors of the article highlight the important issue of compliance with language norms in speech practice, since the priority directions of the state educational policy on training high-level personnel are the development and improvement of speech culture as a fundamental competence of specialists in any field. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that one of the professional qualities of a specialist is the possession of lexical norms and their direct observance in communication activities. The purpose of the study is to identify ways of mastering lexical compatibility norms at the advanced stage of learning English due to the complexity of communicative tasks at this stage of language learning. In order to achieve this goal, the authors of the article found out the reasons for violations of the rules of word use; analyzed the identified violations of the norms of lexical semantics; and suggested ways to avoid shortcomings in speech and professional activity related to lexical mistakes. The article provides rational recommendations for eliminating speech deficiencies related to violations of the rules of word use, and gives examples of exercises for developing lexical compatibility skills in English classes. The authors conclude that teaching codified norms of vocabulary use should be based on both receptive and productive exercises, the latter being most effective if they contain a creative element. An integral component of teaching lexical compatibility is the formation of strategies for independent mastery of its norms.
