Антропоніми в англійських фразеологізмах: історично-типологічний аспект

Abstract

Статтю присвячено дослідженню особливостей англійських фразеологічних одиниць, які у своєму складі містять антропоніми. Встановлено, що дослідження антропонімів у фразеології є важливою проблемою, яка вивчає структуру, значення та вживання фразеологічних одиниць, що включають імена людей або їх прізвища. Визначено, що фразеологічні одиниці є лексикалізованими сполученнями слів, які ніби прагнуть поєднатися в одну лексему, але у той же час ще не втратили форми словосполучення; антропоніми – це імена людей або прізвища, які використовуються для позначення конкретних осіб. Підтверджено, що антропонімічні елементи в англійських фразеологізмах можуть містити відомості про історичні події, додаткову чи цікаву інформацію про відомих історичних особистостей, демонструвати типові імена, розповсюджені у певний період часу чи на певній території. Доведено, що серед антропонімів у складі фразеологізмів в англійській мові масоніми (чоловічі імена) значно переважають над фемінонімами (жіночими іменами). Виокремлено аспекти, на яких базується вивчення антропонімів у фразеології, а саме: семантика та символіка – антропоніми, які зустрічаються в фразеологізмах, можуть нести певну семантику та символіку; етимологія – дослідження походження антропонімів у фразеологізмах допомагає розкрити їхні корені та зв'язки з історією та культурою; значення в контексті – антропоніми можуть набувати специфічного значення, коли вони вживаються в певних фразеологічних виразах; соціокультурний контекст – дослідження антропонімів у фразеології дозволяє з'ясувати, як імена відображають певні соціальні та культурні стереотипи, традиції, ідентичність та цінності; вплив мовних змін та тенденцій – динаміка вживання антропонімів у фразеологічних одиницях може бути пов'язана з мовними змінами, трендами та модою в іменуванні; порівняльний аналіз – дослідження антропонімів у фразеології різних мов дозволяє зрозуміти відмінності та спільні риси у використанні імен у різних культурах. З’ясовано, що дослідження антропонімів у фразеології сприяє поглибленому розумінню взаємодії мови, культури та історії, а також кращому осмисленню впливу імен на сприйняття фразеологічних виразів і відображення їх значень.

The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of anthroponyms in English phraseology. It has been established that the study of anthroponyms in phraseology is an important branch of linguistics, which studies the structure, meaning and use of phraseological units that include people's names or their surnames. It has been determined that phraseological units are lexicalized combinations of words that seem to strive to be combined into one lexeme, but at the same time have not yet lost the form of a word combination; anthroponyms are names of people or surnames used to refer to specific individuals. It has been confirmed that anthroponymic elements in English phraseology can contain information about historical events, additional or interesting information about famous historical figures, demonstrate typical names spread in a certain period of time or in a certain area. It has been proved that among anthroponyms in the composition of phraseological units in the English language, male names significantly prevail over female names. The aspects on which the study of anthroponyms in phraseology is based have been highlighted, namely: semantics and symbolism (anthroponyms found in phraseology can carry certain semantics and symbolism); etymology (the study of the origin of anthroponyms in phraseological units helps to reveal their roots and connections with history and culture); meaning in the context (anthroponyms can acquire a specific meaning when they are used in certain phraseological expressions); sociocultural context (the study of anthroponyms in phraseology allows one to find out how names reflect certain social and cultural stereotypes, traditions, identity and values); the influence of language changes and trends (the dynamics of the use of anthroponyms in phraseological units may be related to language changes, trends and fashion in naming); comparative analysis (the study of anthroponyms in the phraseology of different languages makes it possible to understand the differences and common features in the use of names in different cultures). It has been found that the study of anthroponyms in phraseology contributes to a deeper understanding of the interaction of language, culture and history, as well as a better understanding of the influence of names on the perception of phraseological expressions and the reflection of their meanings.
