Методика дослідження англомовного фанфікшен

Abstract

У статті висвітлюються методологічні передумови дослідження англомовного фанфікшен як різновиду масової літератури. Термін «фанфікшен» визначається як різновид творчості шанувальників популярних творів мистецтва (так званого фан-арту в широкому сенсі цього слова), похідний літературний твір, заснований на якому-небудь оригінальному творі (як правило, літературному чи кінематографічному), що використовує його ідеї сюжету і (або) персонажів. Актуальність вивчення фанфіку зумовлена, перш за все, тим, що ці твори є яскравим прикладом так званої живої мови. Вони відображають усі сучасні мовні тенденції, виражають музичні, літературні та кіноуподобання молоді. Крім того, фанфік – маловивчене явище, яке існувало в різних формах, але найбільшого поштовху в розвитку отримало лише в останні десятиліття, що також підкреслює релевантність подібних лінгвістичних розвідок. Дослідження англомовного фанфікшену передбачає кілька етапів. Першим етапом є формування корпусу текстів, які представляють англомовний фанфікшен різних жанрів, а також загальна класифікація фанфікшену. Це дає можливість ознайомитися з різноманітністю жанрів та тематик, які присутні у фанфікшені. Другим етапом є аналіз структурних особливостей фанфікшену як мегатексту. Це включає вивчення особливостей сюжетної структури, розкриття персонажів, риторичних засобів та інших аспектів, які визначають специфіку фанфікшену. Третій етап передбачає виявлення семантичних, структурних та мотивуючих ознак англомовної термінології фанфікшену. Це дозволяє встановити специфічні терміни та поняття, які використовуються у фанфікшені, а також з'ясувати їхнє значення та взаємозв'язок. Нарешті, четвертий етап полягає у дослідженні композиційних, сюжетних та персонажних особливостей англомовного фанфікшену у порівнянні з оригінальним твором. Цей етап включає аналіз відмінностей у розвитку сюжету, характеру персонажів та загальної атмосфери у фанфікшені порівняно з оригіналом.

The article highlights the methodological prerequisites for the study of English fanfiction as a type of mass literature. The term "fanfiction" is defined as a type of creativity by fans of popular works of art (so-called fan art in the broadest sense of the word), a derivative literary work based on some original work (usually literary or cinematic) that uses its plot ideas and (or) characters. The relevance of studying fan fiction is due, first of all, to the fact that these works are a vivid example of the so-called living language. They reflect all modern language trends, express musical, literary and film preferences of young people. In addition, fan fiction is a little-studied phenomenon that existed in various forms, but received the greatest impetus in development only in recent decades, which also emphasizes the relevance of such linguistic investigations. The study of English fan fiction involves several stages. The first stage is the formation of a corpus of texts that represent English fan fiction of various genres, as well as a general classification of fan fiction. This gives an opportunity to get acquainted with the variety of genres and topics that are present in fan fiction. The second stage is the analysis of the structural features of fanfiction as a megatext. This includes the study of features of the plot structure, the disclosure of characters, rhetorical devices and other aspects that determine the specificity of fan fiction. The third stage involves the identification of semantic, structural and motivating features of the English terminology of fan fiction. This allows you to establish specific terms and concepts used in fanfiction, as well as clarify their meaning and relationship. Finally, the fourth stage consists in the study of the compositional, plot and character features of the English fan fiction in comparison with the original work. This stage includes an analysis of the differences in the development of the plot, the nature of the characters and the general atmosphere in the fanfiction compared to the original.
