Президентський дискурс як вияв політичної комунікації: сутнісні характеристики

Abstract

У статті схарактеризовано президентський дискурс як різновид інституційної комунікації та розглянуто його в межах політичного дискурсу. Багатовимірність цього поняття та його міждисциплінарний характер зумовлюють дискусійність терміна і потребу ґрунтовного опису президентського дискурсу. Мета дослідження – визначити президентський дискурс і схарактеризувати його основні ознаки. Поставлена мета передбачала розв’язання таких завдань: проаналізувати підходи до дефініції президентського дискурсу та схарактеризувати президентський дискурс як різновид політичного; проаналізувати основні параметри українського політичного дискурсу; окреслити систему мовленнєвих жанрів українського президентського дискурсу. Здійснено огляд теоретичних праць українських лінгвістів, присвячених президентському дискурсу та президентській риториці. Проаналізовано основні підходи до визначення президентського дискурсу та його аналізу в межах політичної комунікації. Окреслено проблему вивчення президентського дискурсу в україністиці. Об’єктом аналізу є президентський дискурс як різновид політичного дискурсу; предмет дослідження – сутнісні характеристики українського президентського дискурсу. Визначено специфіку саме українського політичного дискурсу в аспекті системи його мовленнєвих жанрів і різновидів. Матеріалом для аналізу слугувати дефініції політичного і президентського дискурсу, основні концепції політичного дискурсу, мовні вияви українського президентського дискурсу, зокрема тексти виступів Президентів України 1991–2023 років (Л. Кравчука, Л. Кучми, В. Ющенка, В. Януковича, П. Порошенка, В. Зеленського). Результатом дослідження стала авторська дефініція президентського дискурсу, що актуалізує лінгвопрагматичні параметри поняття. Розглянуто систему мовленнєвих жанрів українського президентського дискурсу та вироблено основні підходи до їх аналізу.

The article characterizes presidential discourse as a type of institutional communication and examines it within the framework of political discourse. The multidimensionality of this concept and its interdisciplinary nature determine the debate of the term and the need for a thorough description of the presidential discourse. The purpose of the research is to define the presidential discourse and characterize its main features. The goal was to solve the following tasks: analyze approaches to the definition of presidential discourse and characterize presidential discourse as a type of political discourse; to analyze the main parameters of the Ukrainian political discourse; outline the system of speech genres of the Ukrainian presidential discourse. A review of the theoretical works of Ukrainian linguists devoted to presidential discourse and presidential rhetoric was carried out. The main approaches to defining the presidential discourse and its analysis within the framework of political communication are analyzed. The problem of studying presidential discourse in Ukrainian studies is outlined. The object of analysis is presidential discourse as a type of political discourse; the subject of the study is the essential characteristics of the Ukrainian presidential discourse. The specificity of the Ukrainian political discourse in terms of the system of its speech genres and varieties is determined. Definitions of political and presidential discourse, basic concepts of political discourse, language manifestations of Ukrainian presidential discourse, in particular the texts of the speeches of the Presidents of Ukraine 1991–2023 (L. Kravchuk, L. Kuchma, V. Yushchenko, V. Yanukovych, P. Poroshenko) serve as material for the analysis, V. Zelensky). The result of the research was the author’s definition of the presidential discourse, which actualizes the linguopragmatic parameters of the concept. The system of speech genres of the Ukrainian presidential discourse was considered and the main approaches to their analysis were developed.
