Оказіональна субстантивація прикметників та дієприкметників у романі Лонга «Дафніс і Хлоя»

Abstract

Мета. Дослідження процесів транспозиції частин мови займає важливе місце у лінгвістичній науці. Особливий інтерес до цієї проблеми зумовлено переміщенням центру уваги світової лінгвістики на мову у процесі функціонування. У статті на матеріалі давньогрецького роману Лонга «Дафніс і Хлоя» здійснено комплексне дослідження оказіонально субстантивованих прикметників та дієприкметників з описом усіх семантико та морфолого-синтаксичних особливостей аналізованих одиниць. У вступній частині наведено визначення оказіональної субстантивації прикметників та дієприкметників та виділено критерії виокремлення оказіонально субстантивованих дієприкметників та прикметників. Перший розділ присвячений аналізові семантичної структури оказіонально субстантивованих дієприкметників та прикметників (далі ОСД та ОСП відповідно). Методи дослідження. Семантичну структуру ОСП та ОСД ми досліджуємо шляхом компонентного аналізу, виокремлюючи архісему, диференційні та оказіональні або ж контекстуальні семи з урахуванням приналежності кожного оказіонального субстантивата до лексико-граматичних категорій, зокрема, істот, неістот, збірні та абстрактні поняття. При цьому семантична структура ОСП та ОСД порівнюється з семним набором відповідних одиниць поза межами контексту. У другому розділі розглянуто морфолого-синтаксичний статус оказіональних субстантиватів, оскільки при оказіональній субстантивації прикметники та дієприкметники зазнають не тільки лексико-семантичних змін, але й морфологічних і синтаксичних. Результати роботи сприяють теоретичному і практичному дослідженню тексту давньогрецького роману та є внеском у розвиток сучасної мовознавчої науки. Ми прийшли до висновку, що авторські новотвори здатні пов’язувати не лише окремі тематичні відрізки, але й акумулювати у собі основну проблематику твору, в силу чого виступають зв’язувальними компонентами усього твору. Головні підсумки розвідки підведені у висновках.

Purpose. The study of the processes of transposition of parts of language occupies an important place in linguistic science. Of particular interest in this problem is due to the movement of the focus of world linguistics to the language in the process of functioning. An article in the material of the ancient Greek novel by Long “Daphnis and Chloe” conducted a comprehensive study of ocasional-substantivated participles and adjectives with a description of all semantic-stylistic and morphological-syntactic features of the analyzed units. The introductory part defines the ocasional substantivation of participles and adjectives and highlights the criteria for distinguishing ocasional-substantivated participles and adjectives. The first section is devoted to the analysis of the semantic structure of ocasional-substantivated participles and adjectives (hereinafter OSP and OSA, respectively). Research methods. We study the semantic structure of the OSP and the OSA by component analysis, distinguishing between the archisema, differential and ocasional or contextual sema, taking into account the affiliation of each ocasional substantivated participles and adjectives to lexico-grammatical categories, in particular, beings, non-creatures, collective and abstract concepts. At the same time, the semantic structure of the GSP and the OSA is compared with a seventh set of appropriate units outside the context. The second section discusses the morphological-syntactic status of ocasional substantivated participles and adjectives, because in ocasional substivation, participles and adjectives undergo not only lexico-semantic changes, but also morphological and syntactic. The results of the work contribute to the theoretical and practical study of the text of the ancient Greek novel and are a contribution to the development of modern linguistics. We have come to the conclusion that author’s innovations are able to connect not only individual thematic segments, but also to accumulate the main problems of the work, due to which they act as binding components of the whole work. The main results of our work are summarized in the conclusions.
