Жанр турецького технічного тексту «інструкція з експлуатації» в аспекті перекладу

Abstract

У статті розглянуто поняття «інструкція з експлуатації», зокрема досліджено шляхи відтворення при перекладі жанрово-стилістичних особливостей інструкцій. Досліджено тексти турецькомовних і українськомовних інструкцій до побутових приладів, проаналізовано мовні засоби, які використовуються для створення тексту інструкції та способи їх передання українською мовою. Встановлено, що інструкція до побутової техніки є жанром науково-технічного стилю і слугує для повідомлення точних фактів, які описують спеціальну галузь, а також сприяє спрощенню процесу сприйняття інформації. Визначено особливості композиційної структури інструкцій з експлуатації, зокрема, з’ясовано, що вони містять типові інформаційні блоки, будуються за чіткими шаблонами, характеризуються стандартним розташуванням матеріалу, лаконічністю, логічністю і наявністю невербальних засобів, таких як схеми, малюнки, умовні знаки. Різниця між турецькими та українськими текстами інструкцій спостерігається як на стилістичному рівні, так і на рівні синтаксису і лексики, тому адекватний переклад не може відбуватися без адаптації. У розглянутих текстах інструкцій з експлуатації виявлено значну кількість науково-технічної термінології, технічної фразеології. Визначено лексико-граматичні особливості текстів інструкцій. Обґрунтовано, що основним принципом, якого повинен дотримуватися перекладач фахових текстів, є, насамперед, розуміння змісту термінів турецькою мовою та прагнення до точного й однозначного відтворення їх у перекладі. Описано особливості перекладу скорочень, власних назв, зокрема прийоми, до яких слід вдаватися за відсутності одиничного відповідника певної власної назви вихідної мови. Вищезазначені стилістичні та лексико-граматичні характеристики науково-технічних документів впливають на їх комунікативні характеристики, які мають бути відтворені в процесі перекладу. Наголошено на важливості і необхідності продовжувати роботу щодо накопичення досвіду перекладу турецьких науково-технічних текстів, аналізу наявних і розроблення нових правил, які могли б забезпечити їхній якісний переклад, підкреслено значимість вивчення стилістичних особливостей перекладу науково-технічних текстів, що, безперечно, є перспективними для подальшого дослідження.

The article deals with the concept of «operating instruction», in particular, the ways of reproducing the genre and stylistic features of instructions in translation. The texts of Turkish and Ukrainian-language instructions for household appliances are studied, the language means used to formulate the text of the instruction and the ways of their transmission in Ukrainian are analyzed. It has been established that instructions for household appliances belong to the scientific and technical functional style and serve to communicate accurate facts describing a special field, as well as to simplify the process of cognition of information. The article identifies the peculiarities of the compositional structure of operating instructions, in particular, it is found that they contain typical information blocks, are built according to clear templates, are characterized by a standard arrangement of material, conciseness, logic and the presence of non-verbal means, such as diagrams, drawings, and symbols. There are differences between Turkish and Ukrainian instructional texts at the stylistic level, as well as at the level of syntax and vocabulary, so adequate translation cannot take place without adaptation. A significant amount of scientific and technical terminology and technical phraseology was found in the analyzed texts of operating instructions. The lexical and grammatical features of the instruction texts are determined. It is substantiated that the main principle that a translator of professional texts should adhere to is, first of all, to understand the meaning of terms in Turkish and strive for their accurate and unambiguous reproduction in translation. The article describes the peculiarities of translating abbreviations and proper names, in particular, the techniques that should be used in the absence of a single equivalent of a particular proper name in the source language. These stylistic, lexical and grammatical features of scientific and technical materials directly affect their communicative character, which must be reproduced in translation. The author emphasizes the importance and necessity of continuing to work on accumulating experience in translating Turkish scientific and technical texts, analyzing existing and developing new rules that could ensure their high-quality translation, and emphasizes the importance of studying the stylistic features of the translation of scientific and technical texts, which are undoubtedly promising for further research on the features of scientific and technical genres.
