Мовна ідентичність генія: філософський та лінгвістичний аспекти

Abstract

Статтю присвячено дослідженню мовної ідентичності генія у філософському та лінгвістичному аспектах. Феномен геніальності як прояв найвищої творчої здібності у науковій чи художній діяльності та постать генія здавна привертали увагу дослідників у царині філософії та психології. Наше дослідження спрямоване на комплексне вивчення лінгвальної репрезентації мовної ідентичності генія. Актуальність роботи зумовлена загальною антропоцентричною науковою парадигмою сьогодення, пріоритетною спрямованістю сучасних лінгвокогнітивних досліджень на вивчення мовної особистості та відсутністю комплексних досліджень феномену геніальності в аспекті лінгвальної репрезентації. Матеріалом аналізу слугували англомовні висловлювання визнаних геніїв, які виокремлені з їхніх промов, інтерв’ю тощо, та які є розтиражованими, зокрема, в мережі Інтернет під прагматично спрямованими рубриками і заголовками. В рамках нашої роботи видається релевантним розгляд тих висловлювань геніальних особистостей, які увійшли до англомовної лінгвокультури та по сьогоднішній день є актуальними для неї. Проведений тематичний аналіз висловлювань геніальних особистостей – це лише невелика частина досліджень їх мовної ідентичності, проте, результати свідчать про еталонність постаті генія в картині світу англомовного соціуму, думки, судження якого є авторитетними та мотивуючими. Фіксуємо також певні спільні тематичні риси проаналізованих висловлювань, в яких знаходить своє відображення як образність мислення, так й інші концептуальні ознаки концепту GENIUS / ГЕНІЙ, як от успішність, працьовитість, скромність, простота, допитливість, іронічність, які корелюють із виокремленими вище концептуальними ознаками в ході аналізу різножанрового дискурсу про геніїв. Перспективу роботи вбачаємо у можливості подальших досліджень геніальних особистостей в парадигмі лінгвоперсонології, контрастивної лінгвістики, психолінгвістики тощо.

The article is devoted to the study of the linguistic identity of genius in philosophical and linguistic aspects. The phenomenon of genius as a manifestation of the highest creative ability in scientific or artistic activity and the figure of a genius have long attracted the attention of researchers in the field of philosophy and psychology. Our research is aimed at a comprehensive study of the linguistic representation of the linguistic identity of a genius. The relevance of the work is due to the general anthropocentric scientific paradigm of today, the priority focus of modern linguistic-cognitive research on the study of the linguistic personality, and the lack of comprehensive studies of the phenomenon of genius in the aspect of linguistic representation. The material for the analysis was the English utterances of recognized geniuses, which were extracted from their speeches, interviews, etc., and which are widely circulated, in particular, on the Internet under pragmatic headings. Within the framework of our work, it seems relevant to consider those statements of genius personalities that have entered the English-speaking linguistic culture and are relevant for it to this day. The thematic analysis of the statements of genius personalities is only a small part of the research on their linguistic identity, however, the results testify to the benchmark figure of the genius in the worldview of the English-speaking society, whose opinions and judgments are authoritative and motivating. We also record certain common thematic features of the analyzed statements, which reflect both the imagery of thinking and other conceptual features of the GENIUS concept, such as success, hard work, modesty, simplicity, inquisitiveness, irony, which correlate with the conceptual features identified during the analysis of a multi-genre discourse about geniuses. We see the perspective of the work in the possibility of further research of genius personalities in the paradigm of linguistic personology, contrastive linguistics, psycholinguistics, etc.
