Характерні ознаки сучасних термінологічних словників

Abstract

Лінгвістичні дослідження у сучасному світі спрямовані на вивчення особливостей створення цифрових лінгвістичних ресурсів, зокрема термінологічних словників. Комп’ютеризація формування термінологічних словників стає нагальною потребою, тому що традиційна лексикографія не здатна забезпечити швидкозростаючі потреби науки. У статті розглянуто поділ за класифікацією та характерні ознаки сучасних термінологічних словників, оскільки вони сприяють розвитку галузей знань і надають доступ до наукових інформаційних джерел, а також зосереджено увагу на значенні лексикографічних функцій. Створення термінологічних словників сприяє нормалізації професійної мови, адже саме словники є засобом впорядкування та критичного аналізу поняттєвої системи відповідної наукової галузі. Автори зазначають, що словник окреслює особливості термінологічних одиниць відповідної галузі, сприяє формуванню мовленнєвої компетентності фахівців, а також допомагає у систематизації, своєчасному та постійному оновленні галузевої термінології, а також слугує доступом до наукових інформаційних джерел. Сучасні електронні словники характеризуються незалежністю словникових об’єктів від часових і просторових обмежень, наявністю гіпермедіальних об’єктів, динамічністю словникових об’єктів та розподілом зв’язків (лінків) і відношень між ними тощо. З’ясовано, що з функціями термінологічних словників безпосередньо пов’язана їх видова й типологічна класифікація. Автори переконливо доводять, що видова класифікація словників здійснюється за інформаційним та матеріальним складником, а також за обставинами існування словника у зовнішньому середовищі. Відтак словник моделює мовну систему та надає користувачеві вільний доступ до неї. Сумлінне дотримання вимог та критеріїв сприятиме подоланню недоліків сучасних термінологічних словників.

Linguistic research in the modern world aims to study the peculiarities of the creation of digital linguistic resources, particularly terminological dictionaries. Computerization of the formation of terminological dictionaries becomes an urgent need because traditional lexicography cannot meet the rapidly growing needs of science. The article considers the division by classification and characteristic features of modern terminological dictionaries, as they contribute to developing fields of knowledge and provide access to scientific information sources. It also focuses on the importance of lexicographic functions. The creation of terminological dictionaries contributes to the normalization of professional language because it organizes and critically analyzes the conceptual system of the relevant scientific field. The authors note that the dictionary outlines the features of the terminological units of the relevant field, contributes to the formation of speech competence of specialists, helps in the systematization timely and constant updating of the branch terminology, and also serves as access to scientific information sources. Modern electronic dictionaries are characterized by the independence of dictionary objects from time and space limitations, the presence of hypermedia objects, the dynamism of dictionary objects, and the distribution of connections (links) and relations between them. It has been found that their specific and typological classification is directly related to the functions of terminological dictionaries. The authors convincingly prove that the type classification of dictionaries is carried out according to the informational and material components and the circumstances of the existence of the dictionary in the external environment. Thus, the dictionary models the language system and gives users unrestricted access. Conscientious compliance with requirements and criteria will contribute to overcoming the shortcomings of modern terminological dictionaries.
