Дихотомія «свій» – «чужий» як ментальний образ в аспекті імагологічного аналізу

Abstract

У статті стверджується, що особливістю наукового процесу сьогодення є розповсюдження кроснаукових досліджень. Необхідність розуміння світу, що швидко змінюється і поглибленого вивчення людської особистості зумовлює розвиток міжгалузевих розвідок по типу імагології. У роботі йдеться про необхідність дослідження усього культурно-історичного пласту, притаманному певному відрізку часу. Представлений огляд наукових досліджень свідчить про активні пошуки у галузі імагології західно-європейських учених та зацікавленість у українських дослідників у імагологічних дослідженнях. Висловлюється думка, що найважливішим поняттям, яким оперує імагологія, є образ. Для глибокого і всебічного розуміння образу необхідним є застосування категорії оцінки. У статті стверджується, що оцінка є складною філософською категорією і лежить в основі формування системи цінностей суспільства й специфіки сприйняття власної і чужої культури та менталітету. Образ являє собою складне поняття, яке поєднує філософське, соціологічне, психологічне, філологічне, естетичне значення. Таке утворення можна описати як ментальний образ, що й являє собою розумове сприйняття або відторгнення іншої культури і стає ментальним продуктом. У роботі зазначено, що імагологічний образ, перебуває у процесі постійної трансформації, під час якої відбувається нашаровування старих рис на нові, співіснування ознак, притаманних сприйняттю образу на різних етапах історичного розвитку людства. Структура «свій» – «чужий» не є сталою і статичною, має неоднорідний характер і постійно змінюється. Закцентовано увагу на багатоаспектності компонентів бінарної структури. Категорія «свій» має неоднорідний характер, що значною мірою залежить від реципієнта. Досліджуючи цей імагологічний образ, неможна оминути увагою певне розшарування суспільства і формування у кожного прошарку власного сприйняття цієї категорії. Другий член бінарної опозиції також є багатоплановим. «Чужий» може сприйматися як «інший», не такий як я, той, хто має власні погляди, систему цінностей, але потенційно готовий зрозуміти і прийняти мій вибір. Екстремальним проявом образу «іншого» є «ворог», саме публічний ворог, а не особистий конкурент чи супротивник.

The article claims that a feature of today’s scientific process is the spread of cross-scientific research. The need to understand the rapidly changing world and the in-depth study of the human personality predisposes the development of interdisciplinary researches such as imagology. The work deals with the need to study the entire cultural and historical stratum inherent in a certain period of time. The represented review of scientific researches shows active searches in the field of imagology by Western European scientists and the interest of Ukrainian researchers in imagological study. The opinion is expressed that an image is the most important concept which is operated by imagology. It is necessary to use the evaluation category for a deep and comprehensive understanding of the image. It is noted in the article that evaluation is a complex philosophical category and it is at the basis of the formation of the value system of society and the specifics of perception of own and foreign culture and mentality. The image is a complex concept that combines philosophical, sociological, psychological, philological, aesthetic meaning. This formation can be described as a mental image, which is a mental perception or rejection of another culture and it becomes a mental product. It is stated that the imagological image is in the process of constant transformation, during which there is a layering of old features on new ones, the coexistence of features inherent in the perception of the image at different stages of the historical development of mankind. The structure of “own” – “alien” is not stable and static, it has a heterogeneous character and it is changing constantly. Attention is focused on the multifaceted nature of the components of the binary structure. The category “own” has a heterogeneous character, which largely depends on the recipient. Studying this imagological image, you cannot ignore a certain stratification of society and the formation of each stratum’s own perception of this category. The second member of the binary opposition is also multifaceted. “Alien” can be perceived as “other”, not like me, someone who has his/her own views, a system of values, but he/she is potentially ready to understand and accept my choice. The extreme manifestation of the image of the “other” is the “enemy”, precisely the public enemy, not a personal competitor or opponent.
