Художня інтерпретація образів-персонажів видатних українців у романі Ольги Саліпи «Оля»

Abstract

Осмислення життя і творчості українських письменників дедалі частіше стає предметом художньої творчості сучасних авторів. Існує вже чимало художніх творів, в яких оживають долі тих, хто залишив помітний слід в історії українського письменства. Художня реконструкція біографій українських письменників у жанрі повістей та романів, в яких постають змодельовані художні образи відомих осіб, визначаються своєю специфікою, де присутній домисел і навіть навмисна містифікація образу головних гроїв. У статті проаналізовано дебютний роман української письменниці, поетки, журналістки О. І. Саліпи «Оля» через призму бачення непростих стосунків головних героїнь твору – письменниці Ольги Кобилянської та її найближчої подруги впродовж усього життя – художниці Августи Кохановської. Саме ці персоналії виступають на сторінках твору у складних стосунках із українським письменником Осипом Маковеєм. Ольга Саліпа пропонує свою вигадану таємничу історію, коли на шляху до особистого щастя письменниці стає її найближча подруга з часів дитинства Августа Кохановська. Таємні зустрічі художниці з письменником стають поштовхом, на думку авторки роману, до зародження пристрасних почуттів. Письменниця пропонує свою вигадану історію розвитку стосунків молодих людей. Текст роману, події якого відбуваються у Яворові, Чернівцях, Львові, Кимполунгу, Торуні та Відні, охоплює хронологічний часовий проміжок 1876–1941 років. У романі Ольги Саліпи емоційно-підсилювальну функцію виконують образні характеристики героїнь та особлива насиченість тексту афористичними висловлюваннями самої Ольги Кобилянської, її матері та інших героїв твору. Встановлено, що роман Ольги Саліпи «Оля» є художнім вимислом письменниці, адже історично не встановлено того факту, що Августа Кохановська та Осип Маковей зустрічалися у Відні, що і стало поштовхом, на думку авторки твору, до появи позашлюбної доньки.

Understanding the life and work of Ukrainian writers is increasingly becoming the subject of artistic creativity of modern authors. There are already many works of art in which the lives of those who left a noticeable mark in the history of Ukrainian literature come to life. The artistic reconstruction of the biographies of Ukrainian writers in the genre of novels, in which simulated artistic images of famous people appear, are determined by their specificity, where there is conjecture and even deliberate mystification of the image of the main characters. The article analyzes the debut novel of the Ukrainian writer, poet, and journalist O. I. Salipa “Olya” through the light of the difficult relationship between the main characters of the work – the writer Olga Kobylyanska and her closest friend throughout her life – the artist Augusta Kochanowska. These personalities play a significant role in the narrative, entangled in complicated relationships with the Ukrainian writer Osyp Makovei. Olha Salipa presents her invented and mysterious story, where the closest childhood friend, Augusta Kochanowska, becomes a crucial figure on the path to the personal happiness of the writer. The secret meetings between the artist and the writer become the impetus for the emergence of passionate feelings. The author of the novel proposes her own story of the development of the relationships between young people. The novel’s narrative unfolds in various locations, including Yavoriv, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Kimbolungu, Toruń, and Vienna, covering the chronological time span from 1876 to 1941. In Olha Salipa’s novel, the emotional-amplifying function is fulfilled by the vivid characterizations of the heroines and the rich texture enriched with aphoristic statements of Olha Kobylianska herself, her mother, and other characters of the work. It has been established that Olha Salipa’s novel “Olya” is an artistic fiction of the writer, as there is no historical evidence supporting the fact that Augusta Kochanowska and Osyp Makovey met in Vienna, which, according to the author, was the impetus for the appearance of an extramarital daughter.
