| Abstract: | Методом Монте-Карло c использованием программного кода DETECT 2000 исследовалась работа детектора на основе кристалла CsI(Tl), в котором сбор света осуществлялся двумя фотодиодами, расположенными на торцах. Рассматривалось применение зеркального, диффузного отражателей, а также комбинированное использование обоих типов. Показано, что при использовании одного вида отражателя невозможно восстановить координату сцинтилляции.

The operation of the detector which is based on CsI(Tl) crystal was investigated by using the Monte Carlo method implemented in the DETECT 2000 code. In the detector the collection of the light occurs by two photodiode which are situated on the ends of the detector. Application of the mirror and diffusive reflectors and also combination of both of them were under investigation. We show that application of only one kind of reflectors did not allow to reconstruct the coordinate of the scintillation. Key words: Monte Carlo method, scintillation detectors, simulation. |
