Сучасна політична термінологія: модифікація дискурсу в світлі воєнного стану

Abstract

Сучасна політична термінологія народжується в умовах воєнного стану та визначається новими реаліями, що виникають під час збройних конфліктів. Дана стаття ретельно аналізує вплив воєнного стану в Україні, запровадженого із лютого 2022 року, на еволюцію мовленнєвого апарату політичного дискурсу. Автор звертає увагу на те, як небувалі обставини породжують необхідність введення нових термінів та концепцій, або ж спричиняє модифікацію вже існуючих, для точнішого вираження суті та динаміки подій. Стаття пропонує системний аналіз термінів, які стають активними в період воєнного конфлікту, та їх вплив на політичний дискурс. Наголошено, що сучасний розвиток політичної лексики, який стрімко наповнюється новими поняттями під впливом суспільно-політичних подій, дає змогу говорити про доцільність виокремлення власне політичної термінології (на заміну соціально-політичної чи суспільно-політичної). Розглядаються випадки переосмислення звичайних термінів у новому контексті, зокрема, як воєнний стан модифікує семантику інших понять та підкреслює їхню важливість в даному контексті. Додатково у статті висвітлюється питання взаємодії сучасної політичної термінології з громадськістю. Аналізується, як зміна слів та їхніх значень впливає на сприйняття суспільством подій, що розгортаються в умовах воєнного конфлікту. Дослідження розкриває, як нові терміни визначають національні цінності, ставляться до питань безпеки та ідентичності, а також як вони можуть використовуватися для маніпулювання громадською думкою. У контексті сучасних геополітичних реалій, автор визначає взаємозв’язок між політичною термінологією та динамікою конфліктів, розкриваючи, як вона відображає та формує реальність воєнного стану. Результати дослідження можуть бути корисні для розуміння еволюції мовної практики та використання термінів у політичному дискурсі під час воєнних конфліктів.

Modern political terminology is born in the conditions of martial law and is determined by new realities arising during armed conflicts. This article carefully analyzes the impact of martial law in Ukraine, introduced from February 2022, on the evolution of the broadcasting apparatus of political discourse. The author draws attention to how new circumstances give rise to the need to introduce new terms and concepts, or to modify existing ones, in order to more accurately express the essence and dynamics of events. The article offers a systematic analysis of terms that become active during the military conflict and their impact on political discourse. It is emphasized that the modern development of political vocabulary, which is rapidly filled with new concepts under the influence of socio-political events, makes it possible to talk about the expediency of distinguishing proper political terminology (to replace socio-political or socio-political). Cases of reinterpretation of ordinary terms in a new context are considered, in particular, how martial law modifies the semantics of other concepts and emphasizes their importance in this context. In addition, the article highlights the issue of interaction of modern political terminology with the public. It is analyzed how the change of words and their meanings affects the society’s perception of the events unfolding in the conditions of the military conflict. The study reveals how the new terms define national values, address issues of security and identity, and how they can be used to manipulate public opinion. In the context of modern geopolitical realities, the author defines the relationship between political terminology and the dynamics of conflicts, revealing how it reflects and shapes the reality of the state of war. The results of the study can be useful for understanding the evolution of linguistic practice and the use of terms in political discourse during military conflicts.
