Особливості сучасного словенського кримінального роману

Abstract

У статті аналізуються особливості становлення жанру детективного роману у словенській літературі; з’ясовуються причини та фактори, які стримували розвиток і формування цього жанру у Словенії, а також чинники, які сприяють популяризації жанру, досліджується кримінальний роман як яскравий зразок масової літератури, затребуваний суспільством споживання. Матеріалом для аналізу було обрано два романи Тадея Ґолоба «Озеро» та «Парк», які репрезентують жанр сучасного кримінального роману. Методологічну основу склали розвідки словенських та українських дослідників феномену масової літератури. Було використано структурно-типологічний, історико-літературний та компаративний методи. Жанр детективу у словенській літературі проходить особливий шлях розвитку: виникає у ХІХ ст. на основі запозичених взірців, пародіює чистий жанр, за винятком кількох індивідуальних письменницьких випадків функціонує переважно у рамках інших жанрів, долає стереотип про масову літературу як низькопробну й не варту уваги, виявляє тенденцію до автономії наприкінці ХХ ст., а у ХХІ ст. займає провідне місце у системі масової культури у Словенії – у кінематографі й літературі. Бестселери Тадея Ґолоба, Авґуста Демшара, Ірени Светек, Мойци Широк, Мірта Комеля й інших авторів-детективістів засвідчують тенденцію до створення національної версії масового продукту, який в умовах глобалізації й обмеженого ринку покликаний допомогти вирізнити словенську літературу поміж інших. Цьому сприяють інструменти фінансової підтримки від держави, активна діяльність видавництва, спрямована на промоцію книжки, співпраця з іншими формами медіа, зокрема радіо й телебаченням, комунікація з читачами, активна діяльність автора зі створення впізнаваного бренду, вихід на іноземні ринки.

The article analyzes the peculiarities of the development of the detective novel genre in Slovenian literature; the reasons and factors that restrained the development and formation of this genre in Slovenia, as well as the factors that contribute to the popularization of the genre, are revealed; the crime novel is investigated as a vivid example of mass literature, demanded by the consumer society. Tadei Golob’s two novels «Jezero» and «Leninov Park» were chosen as material for analysis, which represent the genre of modern crime novels. The methodological basis was the research of Slovenian and Ukrainian researchers of the phenomenon of mass literature. Structural-typological, historical-literary and comparative methods were used. The genre of the detective story in Slovenian literature goes through a special path of development: it appears in the 19th century on the basis of borrowed samples, parodies a pure genre, with the exception of a few individual literary cases, it functions mainly within the framework of other genres, overcomes the stereotype of mass literature as low-quality and unworthy of attention, shows a tendency towards autonomy at the end of the 20th century, and in the 21st century. occupies a leading place in the system of mass culture in Slovenia – in cinematography and literature. The bestsellers of Tadej Golob, Avgust Demšar, Irena Svetek, Mojca Širok, Mirt Komel and other detective authors testify to the tendency to create a national version of a mass product, which, in the conditions of globalization and a limited market, is designed to help distinguish Slovenian literature from others. This is facilitated by instruments of financial support from the state, the publishing house’s activity aimed at promoting the book, cooperation with other forms of media, in particular radio and television, communication with readers, the author’s activity in creating a recognizable brand, entering foreign markets.
