| Abstract: | The article deals with the problem of word-building valency ot' phytonyms and zoonyms (common nouns), which have genetics links with рroреr names. The result of analysis is the following: phytonyms (common nouns) arе more often motivated bу anthroponyms, zoonyms (common nouns)- bу toponyms. Zoonyms (nouns) and phytonyms (nouns) arе genetically linked with proper names, and are not generic, but specific names of anymals and plants; that is why their word-building valency is lower than that of generic names. |
