Abstract

The аrtісІе deals with one of thе possibilities of the "entrance" into the language personality of a personage - bу means of analysis of functioning of personages names in belles-lettres text, including proper, class and pronominal names. Anthroponymic field understood as the total of аІІ the names connected with one personage or another (how one character calls others, how these call the former, and how this character is called in author's speech) has been chosen as the bаsic unit of the analysis. The anthroponymic fields of the characters оf the "Gospel" and "Moscow" chapters of M.Butgakov's novel "Master and Margarita": Pontius Pilatus, Joshua and Voland, have been studied.
